Let's address that by saying that many of us are glad of his massive contribution to the team this season, and want him back in the side ASAP.

I actually don't think his defending has been bad this year. His distribution is shocking though I will give you that.

I think he knocks a decent ball down the line and being in the Bycars I am often there behind him to see him keep it in and bend it round the tackle. He can also pass short ok. He could improve crossing consistency and also get better at the accuracy of balls played to central strikers in centre field movements forward.

He may well be but think that is more down to the rubbish left backs we have had over the years, the likes of Craig James, Phil Hardy, Rae Ingram, Luke Prosser, Jason Talbot, Colin Miles still give me nightmares. We have not had a really good left back since Tankard although Lee Collins did play well there.

Might have been more acceptable if you didn't say that he cant pass the ball, and come out with snidey vitriol that he was only playing better because his contract ends next summer (!) - pretty much the stuff of a vendetta scapegoat merchant with no validity, rather than an 'opposite opinion'.

 

He's been playing well, virtually everyone else agrees with that, perhaps you can't forgive his previous club(s) ?

He can't pass a ball fact.

Maybe it is because he is in the last year of his contract that his performances have marginally improved maybe it isn't.

Don't care who he has played for in the past I base my opinion on what I see.
