The defending for both goals that were conceded was very park football standard ,i dont c teams giving us goals of that poor standard regularly.

On the whole we have finished the season terribly ( one win in 11 tells its own sorry story).

There has been very little to get excited about at Vale Park this season knocked out of both cups at home ,ten (thats right ten home defeats in the league at home).

We have been average at best .

We stayed up and thats the only positive because of the fixtures next season we really need to be giving the loyal hardcore a team of winners.

Who would i keep certainly not Veseli today for the first goal a mannequin could have reacted quicker ,game after game him switching off costing us goals.

Dicko sorry m8 yes u have great heart but your performancesthis season have been no where near as good as your first season ,u will have to go .

Duffy yeah u r a good communicator but time after time your docileness costs us goals .

Robertson sorry m8 if a 19 year old Inniss has to tell u what do u will never be good enough ,ok in.the air but another liability.

Collins too old .

Birchall finished his performances have not been acceptable what ive seen of him.

Oconnor Marshall Neal id keep even Doddsy but the rest im sorry u will have to go ,we want folk to go the ground u aint got the right ingredients ,u may have been.good enough in league two ( which u were in fairness) but league one u need more .

Popey is the only one im in the not sure camp,a fit hungry happy pope is i feel a asset a unhappy unfit pope is not but he aint going be happy if he is been messed abiut is he .

Smurfy get some financial assistance in surely theres a well to do Vale fan who has loads of coin who can get Vale park rocking ,only good players who win home games will do that.

Page is not the answer his tactics r non existant .

U should finish the season on a high not a damp squid .

Next season as a fan i dont know what im going do ,walking me dog is more exciting ( salt line Alsager),but ill attend when i feel like it ,your job Smurf to bring players in who r winners no easy task especially if you dont have the coin to do so .

How do u get the coin by speculating to accumalating .

I walked out at ht for what's left of my sanity and won't return until the idiot has gone.

As I sat in the Bursley Ale House I found it quite remarkable how many fellow Valiants had followed my lead as one by one they seeped backed into Burslem having had enough of watching the idiots team.Motm today was the Bursley Ale House.Splendid selection of real ale 👏

If any or all of the criticisms listed above are anything to go by, and given there is just 11 pts separating 8th and 20th, then it seems to me the majority of the other 19 teams shown in the table below have performed similarly to us.

The fact NOBODY went onto the pitch or even tried to go on at the end of the game says it all.I can't remember that happening before.People were not even pitch side or right by the hoardings.

For the first time in 34 years I left vale park before the final whistle at 75 minutes I couldn't bear it any longer.

I've already bought my two season tickets but if either of Grew and Glover are near the first team next season, I won't be attending.

I would rather go to work on Saturdays and earn enough for a holiday or two.

The last time I felt this way was during Glovers last reign and nothing will ever convince me he's a good coach or manager.

As for Grew how many promising keepers have we had only for them to go down hill after a time under Grews " expert" coaching.

I'm still not sure what to think about Page, he's had Adam's hotchpotch team to utilise this season and I can understand him struggling to compete.

What I can't stomach is Page as a defender cannot improve a dire defence and seems not to be able to see what everyone in the crowd can see.

We need a DEFENCE.

Sorry Norman but you've probably lost another 2 out of the crowd next season.

What the hell was Page thinking about, when he put Birchill on instead of the talented Andoh, what the hell was he thinking about when he played Duffy, and not the talented Birgin, what the hell was he thinking about when we have a talented goal scorering striker in Kapend, I could go on and on, I have always supported Rob Page, but after today, I think it's time for him to go along, with Grew and and the other muppet Glover.

To be fair, Campion was the saviour of Port Vale until he actually played a bit, then he wasn't good enough apparently....

Another in a long line of completely unacceptable performances. End of season games can be dire but with a manager and players trying to earn new contracts I was amazed with the complete lack of effort. I thought the crowd of 5k+ was good for a dead rubber but yet again the team send people home frustrated. From a business point of view that can't continue. Worst part of the day was listening to the excuses of Page on the radio, his defence of the players was pathetic. He thinks it was a game too far for the players, I think it was a game too far for the majority of the supporters. All eyes on Norman this week....

To be fair, I have gone to the majority of the reserve games, I and never rated Campion, although there were fans screeming for him to be played.

It was really weird all that; the lad had no chance because he wasn't Thierry Henry like some decided!

The margins are small, if Rochdale had had 2 less wins and Crewe 2 more wins, Crewe would have been above Rochdale in the table.
