Why do fans keep saying we won't have a decent budget next Season. I doubt Smurf is going to want a repeat of this Season. Not exactly going to help his investment.

He said last Season, this Season would be Conference kids. It didn't happen. I've learnt to go off what he does rather than his mind games to increase attendances. Let's hope he realises he needs to put the quality on the pitch, before fans will come. And no that ain't a moan.

It was pretty obvious to many supporters half-way through last season,that at least six of this current squad were not up to League One standard.The management need to be a bit more ruthless and weed out the deadwood.

Pope has missed an awful lot of chances this season for the "poor service" argument to hold much water.

It was the players who let us down today. Can't fault the substitutions as I'd have taken most of them off. I thought Mo was poor and flitted in and out of the game. Vaseli had a nightmare in defense. Better going forward as was Dicko for a change. Lack of ideas or team work through out. I've never wanted a season to end so much!

Awful performance today. With the exception of Marshall they were all on holiday. Smurf will give Page a contract which will be the wrong decision. Grew and Deano will still be here next season. O'Connor, Marshall and Pope will have played their last game for the Vale. I need therapy quick.

Lacklustre disappointing performance by the players and the crowd. Hardly any vocal support and lots of petty criticism of individual players and officials. I felt the team as a whole had given a supreme effort over the last six games and both their legs and their enthusiasm and given out for this non-event. Management need to seriously consider why second half of the season performances have been much poorer than first half for the past five seasons. Fatigue seems to be a factor so we should consider both the value of pre-season and the method of play.
