I thought first half we were very poor, completely outplayed in every single area, and were lucky to go in at 1-0.

The less said about the first half the better.

Second half I thought we started well and Pope changed the game and deserved to equalize.

However for me the game changer was the Duffy red card, we were brilliant when reduced to ten men and that was when the real character stood out.

For me Marshall was brilliant, consistent effort throughout, Brown, Oconnor and Pope were all excellent as well.

There were still worrying signs at the back, and we still didnt exactly create many chances, but that should be the point that keeps us in the league.

 

My thoughts havnt changed on Page even though this is a very good point.

Oh and I hope to God preston dont go up, they dont deserve it with that style of football and that full on **** head up front, embarrassment.

Fantastic point for Vale, it also means Preston still have much to play for and two of their last games are against teams below us.

 

Vale's task will be much clearer at 5 00 pm tomorrow.

Havent posted for a while so thought I would leave my thoughts. First half was the same old rubbish weve seen week in week out and it was the character of the players in the second half that got us the point. There was no quality at all or tactically excellence or chances created, it all came from effort and the players alone deserve brilliant credit for that. I dont think we need any more points, cant see the rest catching us. Well done boys brilliant effort and character but little class.

handled the ball on the line, knocked it up onto the crossbar. Neal had been fouled seconds previous but nothing given. It shouldn't have come to Duffy Handling it the foul on Neal should have been given.
