I thought he was excellent, never stopped running and deserved his goal, played out wide though and probably won't be the man to replace pope.

Although he didn't play up front today he did play well and would be a better option than Willo when playing one upfront in his own. He worked hard and held the ball up very well. Unfortunately Willo just couldn't hold into the ball so we kept giving away possession.

It's not Willo's game to hold the ball up. He's someone who runs in behind defences and stretches them with runs out wide too. I think N'Guessan could replace Pope. He's strong, good in the air (though his heading doesn't match Pope's) and I think he could easily score at least 15 goals in this league with the right service. That's not to say I want him to replace Pope, but he makes an excellent alternative in my opinion.

Fantastic game and result and helps when the opposition bring a few great atmosphere today but for me although Brown won MOM I thought the two saves first half by Neal kept us in the game top class performance by Neal onwards and upwards lets shock Swindon on Sunday and bring home the points

What a cracking game of football and a good atmosphere to boot. We played some decent football at times and I would say the only slight negatives for me are the stupid goal we conceded and I still think we're a little toothless up front as we didn't create all that much against ten men.

 

An excellent three points though and fingers crossed we can beat the hoodoo and get something at Swindon to make it a good week all round.

 

Neal - 9 - Class act. Has had his critics but for me is one of the best in the division and seems to get better.

Yates - 7 - Not a bad performance but his delivery is atrocious at times when he gets forward.

Dickinson - 7 - Not an awful lot wrong from everyone's boo boy today. Got forward well.

Veseli - 8 - Composed and continues to improve.

Duffy - 7 - Pace is an issue for him at times but reads the game well.

Marshall - 7 - Flitted in and out of the game a bit too much. Has been better, has been worse.

O'Connor - 8 - Oh how we missed his vision and passing range when he was out.

Brown - 8 - Ticks it overly nicely and provided good protection for the back four.

Dodds - 7 - The odd good pass and does try and link the play well. Just have a feeling we would be better with Lines in that roll though.

N'Guessan - 7 - Great penalty but otherwise I don't think he was that great today. Not a winger for me.

Williamson - 7 - Took his goal well but otherwise I don't think he was that effective. Page says he pulls defenders out of position to make space for others but it seemed to me that all too often today we were really struggling to make space.

just because he gets a lucky deflected goal from 1 yard out does not make him player of the season, hes still **** regardless
