Good luck Mickey. Thanks for what you did for us.

Ryan Burge has tweeted something on the lines of he was going to sign for Tranmere last week. Bet he's glad he didn't now.

 

only an asshole like him would tweet rubbish like that, talkes a good game but doesn't replicate it on the pitch.

Hope he does do well there. Guess the plan is stay up this year and maybe challenge next.

 

He did really for us. Promotion happens at our club once in a blue moon and i am really grateful to the guy for what he achieved here. He aint perfect but who is?

So, he must be good at poker, because we seemed to think he'd be off higher last summer, when his contract negotiations dragged on.

Good luck, but it's a bit of a comedown.

 

I suspect he'll be on a few quid there, they'll be desperate to stay in the league and they have plenty of potential as a club, it's not so long ago they were in the Championship so personally I don't see it as a 'comedown'. It's what he's good at, taking clubs in dire straits and sorting them out.

 

I'm grateful for what he did for us and I genuinely hope he can do the same for Tranmere, I have no wish to see another traditional league club the size of Bristol Rovers going the same way as them, or, worse, Stockport.
