sorry but i do not agree with this well if he was asking too much blah blah blah . before you talk to a player you will have an idea of what their wage demands will be , you do not go in blind. if someone is commanding a 3k p w salary do not expect that 1.5k will land you that player . if this is what is happening it is very poor business . do not bother going into poundland if you only have 50p .

I've just be told that he's agreed terms with Vale and he will be unveiled tomorrow.

He never had any intention of signing for Donny, just using them as leverage against Vale, a gamble which has seemingly paid off.

Can't reveal my source, but I trust them.

Hmmm really? Well your source is wrong....

As I said earlier in the thread he's off to Doncaster as they offered him a respectable deal.

If we had offered what he wanted then he would have signed. He is worth it, at this level he is a quality player. But we have no budget left (that's why I say we offered peanuts). 73% before the 3 signings plus apparently Moore is on a hefty wage.

He's only worth what we are prepared to pay. He would not have been an earth shattering signing and we should not be held to ransom

As someone earlier said we must have known his demands before the trial began. I personally feel he would have been a quality signing in a position that we are lacking. time to move on now, see who else we can find.

If we're that skint then i'd go for two slightly less talented players rather that just O'Conner. Reason being if O'Conner were to do a Cuvelier then we'd be well short in midfield. Can't say it would be Jennings & Guyonnet though as i haven't seen them play.

I've heard they're both similar, and both far cheaper as well

Even Lines now saying that we're short of players and not to expect anything like last season.

WTF are players trying to "prepare" us for next season? Adams already done that.

I think that the Club needs to end the speculation and officially comment on the likelihood that more players will arrive.

Anyone for Walsall?

What Norman needs to take on board is the potential loss of revenue when gates fall because if we are seen as lacking ambition. Its a fine balancing act where IMHO a better managed ST scheme would have seen more renewals giving a more competitive budget.

And the walk up cost for admission on matchdays.

Other revenue there will be lost.
