And the walk up cost for admission on matchdays.

Other revenue there will be lost.

The only sensible thing that Mike Lloyd ever said was that the Club makes more money from walk-ups than ST fans.

Smurf, if the product is good, folks will put-up with the ticket hassle (I hope) match by match if we're playing good stuff and winning a few games.

Not by you talking about 73% limits and Adams et al bleating about the lack of players.

I wonder what the forecast for walk-ups is this season.

What Norman needs to take on board is the potential loss of revenue when gates fall because if we are seen as lacking ambition. Its a fine balancing act where IMHO a better managed ST scheme would have seen more renewals giving a more competitive budget.

I disagree. Lots of Vale "fans" seem to need little encouragement to stay away.

Forget all the twaddle about our "fantastic" support, it's no different to most places.

Football fans will watch a winning team, so mid-table seasons (or worse) will always attract less fans.

I actually don't think Norman's gaffes have had much of an impact at all on ST sales.....I just think it's Vale reverting to the core support after one season in the higher league.

I agree but I think Normans messing around have had an impact.

If we're that skint then i'd go for two slightly less talented players rather that just O'Conner. Reason being if O'Conner were to do a Cuvelier then we'd be well short in midfield. Can't say it would be Jennings & Guyonnet though as i haven't seen them play.

We've lost Loft and Griff and we'll gain a couple of Griff's then.

I don't know why we got rid if we werent prepared to bring in quality...which costs more.

Just seen that tweet, how can we offer someone a 60% wage cut and expect them to sign? Seriously what is the point in wasting his time? Ridiculous.

We offered what we could afford. We haven't wasted his time, if anything he has wasted our time.

A 60% wage cut is shocking regardless of the original wage. For a player to go from 3k a week to what 1.2k a week? Embarrassing to even offer that imo.

Hardly. Its probably the going wage in this division, if someone is overpaid in the first place its not shocking to offer them a realistic wage.
