im not moaning, im just concerned and am exercising my right to free assembly.

 

fact is yes we have had a reasonable clear out , majority of the dead wood has gone, but im still waiting to be dazzled by replacements. and if we do get them its going to take time for them to gel isn't it?

For those spouting the "we've got until August" line, pre-season training begins on 1st July and Adams has repeatedly stated during his tenure that he likes to have the majority, if not all, of his squad in place by then so that they all undergo his infamous pre-season regime.

 

That doesn't leave all that long to bring in the numbers (and quality) required. Adams is going to be very busy over these next couple or so weeks!

Not sure if this is the right thread but am I the only one who thinks Vale are letting Lloyd take the ****?? he is only a young lad yet we are waiting on his answer,the last one.

 

I can understand us waiting on Loft last season but for me I would of withdrawn Lloyds offer by now

Problem is, its a very big overhaul of the squad. It will be exciting to see who we bring in, but Adams will have his work cut out in getting a complete squad all gelled together.

Not for MA, I seem to remember him shipping 18 out and 18 in at Leicester when at the Walkers, now King Power.

Yes, Micky knows what he's doing and by now knows exactly how much Wonga he has at his disposal after the players that have left have given him much cash to spend, plus any compo he gets for players leaving and Vale receiving payments.

 

Trust in him to give Valiants a very decent, balanced squad for the new season. He is a master of getting what he wants!

 

All the hype and guess work by us fans is probably being laughed at by Micky, who will know who he wants and who is available. He will produce a Team before long and we'll all be able to relax and drool over the newbies, that will definitely be better replacements for most that have gone. We WILL end up with a more competent and able side, just wait and see.

Of those I reckon only 5 are/should be regular starters - Neal, Duffy, Dickinson, Lines, Pope.

 

That leaves 6 quality players to be signed up for the starting XI - a difficult task for Adams.
