Plymouth Ticket Stub, - just a thought Norman

Then that should be stated to supporters PRIOR to them purchasing a season ticket at the start of the season

Exactly.

As far as I'm concerned, it would be a breach of contract if ST holders were not number one priority.

Who cares about one poxy game when compared to people who stump up vast sums of money months in advance and keep the club running over the summer?

If people are in two minds of whether a ST is viable they may be swung by the fact that they can pretty much gurantee a Crewe/other popular game ticket.

I'm not a season ticket holder due to work. I can't go to plymouth due to work.

I have been two around 10 games so far, including salisbury, and including carlisle and leyton orient. The only way for me to gurantee a ticket for a massive game is if one of my family purchase a ticket for me. Which is what I fully expect will happen - should we beat plymouth.

Why should ST holders get first choice if they can't be bothered to turn up to the earlier FA Cup games?

Order of priority should be -

1. ST AND Plymouth stub holder.

2. Plymouth stub holder.

3. ST holder.

4. General sale.

Don't agree at all. ST holders are the lifeblood of the club without them the club couldn't operate as their number has a significant effect on budget calculations etc.

It cannot be 'fair' that someone who spends £30 on two tickets gets preference over someone who has forked out £350.

I do think however it should be 1 ticket per ST & I do think the Plymouth attendees should get the next bite of the cherry.

True but the current system is open to abuse like the recent Crewe game where fans who had attended every hone and away fixture couldn't get a ticket because ST holders were allowed to purchase multiple tickets for 'fans' who hadn't been near Vale all season.

That seems like a good argument to purchase a ST.

wrt the OP, I cannot attend the Plymouth game as I have a long-standing prior commitment on Sunday. If the FA had not moved the game, I would have been there. I'm not saying that the OP is a bad idea, just that individuals have different patterns to their lives and the club cannot accommodate every personal eventuality.

What about fans who have free STs, should they get priority?

Why not? I don't know what someone does to get a free ST - or even if such an animal exists - but it must be something significant or it wouldn't be given.

Start saving now for next season's ST. Or buy a half ST.
