Plymouth Ticket Stub, - just a thought Norman

There's a winnable 3rd round FA Cup match just round the corner.

Considering that we're in the business of increasing turnover , - surprised that the commercial team haven't released a statement stating that people with ticket stubs from the Plymouth game get preferential ticket priority for the 4th Round which could be a top 6 team from the Premiership.

You'll increase the Plymouth gate therefore generating funds when the club needs it, and at the same avoid tickets going to people who just want to see a particular premiership team in the 4th round rather than support the vale.

Good idea. At £18 any incentive should be encouraged.

Might be a bit of backlash if we drew a team that gave us a limited away allocation if we made it to the 4th round...but the money will already be banked by then so it'd be worth it.

Tickets would of course need to be offered to ST holders first, then Plymouth ticket holders a day or so later.

Why should ST holders get first choice if they can't be bothered to turn up to the earlier FA Cup games?

Order of priority should be -

1. ST AND Plymouth stub holder.

2. Plymouth stub holder.

3. ST holder.

4. General sale.

In that situation, it should be strictly 1 per ST holder (not like the Crewe game) with Plymouth ticket stub holders getting priority before any remaining tickets went on general sale.

Mind you, we've still got to beat Plymouth first.

They could also offer an incentive of so much off the 4th round draw with your 3rd round ticket stub. Say £5-£10 off because then even if we just get a league 1 or Championship team we will have a healthy gate. That is of course assuming the 4th round game is at home.

We're getting ahead of ourselves here, surely?

If someone has purchased a ST and has to miss some games through work commitments they should still get priority imo.

If a ST holder is ill on the day, it would hardly be fair for them to miss out.

I think if 1 person goes in with their mates ST's it should be allowed - but only if you have the ST in hand as proof.

Don't agree. Someone who bothered to buy a ticket for the less attractive ties against Sailsbury and Plymouth deserves first pick. This is a totally different competition, STs shouldn't be relevant.

They could also offer an incentive of so much off the 4th round draw with your 3rd round ticket stub. Say £5-£10 off because then even if we just get a league 1 or Championship team we will have a healthy gate. That is of course assuming the 4th round game is at home.
So you deduct £5-£10 of 40% off the admission price of say £20 ( £8 ) ?

Very true, however the idea is to get people though the gate for Plymouth.

We can draw 11000 K+ as we saw last season, - Launch an incentive scheme for the "maybes" and the crowd will come.

Remember Burton? At least a part of that atmosphere could help push mickey and the boys over the line to a glamour tie in the fourth round, and more importantly a big pay day
