I've just gone on the ticketmaster map and it doesn't look like we have sold a thousand. 🤔

Said on the radio they were hopeful but a lot will depend on how much rain they get between now and kick off.

Ah yes. Taking my lad who’s only 6 so decided Lorne St might be better this time

I really can't be arsed with this game, enthusiasm left a while ago and the promise of the quagmire of a surface with our bunch of bottlers against a decent championship side doesn't fill me with any hope at all. With the travel involved, kids lost interest as well, just like most games it all adds up to a pretty depressing afternoon. So decision made.

However....

For some reason, my wife, who doesn't care about football, and has even less of an idea about it, has decided she would like to go. So the kids, who didn't want to go either, are now all up for it as well! I mean, for f***s sake, I've talked myself out of it and now my non football loving family want to go more than me, she never cared when we were getting promoted last season.

I'll try and think of excuses, like she doesn't have a membership number so despite there being 10,000 empty seats, she won't be allowed to buy a ticket. But I don't think she'd believe me.
