541, play for penalties.

Shouldn't be hard for us to give them away.

Could be a coincidence. 75th anniversary of Vales 3rd Round home relay against Stoke being played at the Victoria Ground, Vales League game against Bristol Rovers also played there.  Pitch the culprit, trenches dug to replace some drains froze overnight, and stayed frozen.

Previous 10 years to when we last played them 10 years ago.

2000-2015 we were pretty regular opponents.

Gotcha

Good grief the club put out a tweet 15 pounds sat ,10 pounds following sat ,and i havent seen one nice reply .

Now i know we are dire, but if that unhappy you dont need go tell everyone else how you feel ,as there still folk who turn up for games with optimism(not many but some ), because thats what you do you forget the past and live for the future ,or else your stuck in a time machine of doom, bit like our support harping on about the 90s etc etc its gone it was good in fact it was GREAT, as was season 2013 promotion when the clubs players played for nothing ,and did they earn total respect till there dying days with what they did for us 6-2 Rotherham /Fleetwood 5 -2 and Popes magnificence yes they bloody well did do ...

Its gone though, and sat is another day a day too start new wonderful memories, if we can get 11 warriors on the field ,it might be the best 15 quid you have spent this year or you could have 3 pints of cruzcambo in concourse at 15.90 instead by sneaking in but you never know ...

So today is dead tomorrow is unwritten ...

A new Vale has to emerge from dark shadows .

Maybe it will but having a rant on twitter (every post ) changes nothing, if not going dont go, but the ones who are going are not bothered if you aint as there going because theres a bit of Vale /Tottenham in them, a bit of Vale /Everton in them even Man city away in them we can win if everyones at it ...

Whos too say sat cannot be the turning point it can

Hope all players selected are really up for it and the Vale contingent who do attend are too ...

Football is all about that first goal as proven with Stoke and the Vale this midweek, if only Gray scored like i say a goal hang on too a uplift for all the side, etc then there first goal and subsequent  others may not have been forthcoming

Love your optimism and passion! I am still really so so disappointed at what's gone on in the last few months and find it hard to motivate my self to even care! Sixty odd years of supporting the Vale this seems the lowest of the low. I just hope against all hope we can turn a corner and get back to getting behind the lads and the club. We need a miracle! And I hope a pray most sincerely we can get one.

Same here we never seem to progress on the pitch one step forward, 2 steps back,Its the hope that kills you watching the Vale. All last years work wasted☹️

Like you been watching for over 60 years and cannot see any change in the foreseeable future so we just carry on regardless I don’t think anybody will won’t to do a Wrexham with us

Remember it was bad under Smith and Butler probably more than now

Looks like we've sold about 1500 home tickets (not incl. hospitality).

Perhaps a lot of people are waiting until the pitch is confirmed playable, but at this rate the attendance might be 50/50 between home and away fans.

The promotion (or lack of it) for this game has been abysmal. £15 tickets and decent opposition & kick-off time, but for some reason we appear to be totally indifferent whether people attend or not.

Inexplicably poor. We have to assume the club really don't care about this game.

The Paddock’s closed on Saturday isn’t it?

Paddock is open. Railway stand is closed.

Can'be as we can still see some grass!!!🤣

If the pitch is underwater in places on Saturday and we play, I fear the worst, since, as has been said on many a match thread, our subs are just not good enough.

The whole squad isn't nowhere near good enough

With the only exception being Waine who actually puts a shift in
