Of more immediate concern there's a home game with Reading next Saturday. Is anyone confident at all of that going ahead as things stand right now? I know I'm certainly not.

Got feel for the owners and ground staff here as it’s getting embarrassing this is

Cold and frosty next week so less rain

Can we call it off at about 12.30 if it is off so they have a wasted journey? Give them a tennis ball each as compensation...

We're a hell of a long way from Championship Ready

There could be a silver lining to this.

1. The rearranged game might be selected for TV.

2. If the ultimate winner of this game is drawn against a biggie at home in Round 5, there should be a much bigger attendance than there would have been tomorrow. Imagine if the carrot is a Man United, Liverpool, Spurs, Villa or Everton tie at home then that would surely stimulate some interest.

Absolute Joke of a club that I have supported for over sixty years!

Not really a surprise

Even with the work done on the pitch, wettest January on record and having had 3 consecutive home games wasn't going to make it easy when the ground is based on clay.

Its a double edged sword point 2 because knowing who we'd have if we won, any (as expected) defeat would hit much harder.

Plus will Bristol City bring 3000+ on a Tuesday now?

If we progress I have zero idea how we fit in any further games too! Especially with Stockport a big shout to be P-P, Donny to find a spot for and potentially Wycombe A going if International call ups dictate (+ with our pitch potentially further games in the coming weeks)

At what point are we in danger of some form of sanction.

At some stage we would have to play elsewhere.

With  climate change  the drainage will need to be future proofed if the Winters continue like this. At least Burslem is on a hill and avoids major flooding.

Does anybody know why it's been postponed? 🫠🤪🙃

hose ban and the pitch too hard to play on.  Wait a minute that is the next excuse in a months time.  🤪🙃🤣

Madness, so guess we wont play on Round 5 day. Disaster though as if it carries in I can't see how next weekend happens either.

Could arrange to play the 5th round mid week if European fixtures allow? Plenty of time to sort it after Monday. Could then keep our league fixture on the Sat to avoid another re-arrangement.  All very uncertain since we have no control off the weather.
