Becoming a bit of a laughing stock. I can’t remember the last time we had so many games called off for a waterlogged pitch

This isn't going to be the last postponement we get this season as frankly I thought the Stockport one was in danger of being abandoned once it started throwing it down. We're going to end up playing 3 or 4 times a week in April.

Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if next week is called off as well judging by the weather forecast and don't forget we still have the Doncaster away game to rearrange as well. The Doncaster game will probably be placed between the Wigan and Plymouth game but if any more games do get called off at home at this rate we will be playing on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

If it carries in we genuinely might have to play away from VP for a few weeks.

This is going to be the thing, there is far from any guarantee come the 6th March the pitch will be any more playable as don't see the weather changing any time soon.

Not sure what the rules are whether can switch home games to a neutral venue or something or just forfeit them but it's going to come to that scenario at some point.

Not to mention a high chance Stockport is off as well, if they beat Doncaster they are in the Vertu Final that weekend. (which saves me a potential Birthday relegation that day... all clouds and that).

It's not the clubs fault that the drainage system has collapsed as they don't know when it was inserted that it would cause an awful lot of problems but it's now starting to become a serious issue and I wouldn't be at all surprised if we have to groundshare with someone between now and the end of the season.

It’s always the club’s fault if it cannot maintain a pitch. Personally I felt we needed to go with a dessograss-master system which all the top clubs have which is part synthetic. Expensive, but it was only solution.

It's not the only solution,  a retractable roof built within the 3 new stands would also be a solution.

We just need a "go fund me" page.

Of more immediate concern there's a home game with Reading next Saturday. Is anyone confident at all of that going ahead as things stand right now? I know I'm certainly not.
