Match Thread - Port Vale v Bristol City (FAC)

With regards to the pitch, my thoughts would be if its called off tomorrow, the chances are we'll have multiple other games during the rest of the season where the pitch will be just as bad.

I'm afraid we really just need to get the games played and get to the summer when we can 'try' and sort the pitch and also the squad!

I live in hope that the FA Cup is still a weird one....the quagmire should be embraced as it was v Spurs, we had no chance that day!!

Amazing how bad this game has been promoted. Even with no social media on a cold Sunday in January 1988 we pulled in 10k v Macclesfield.

Come on Vale.

the gulf between them and us should still be smaller than Macc v Palace, just about. So.......

Problem is our players against Stockport acted like lapdogs not wanting to go out in the rain.

There will be lots of player changes, but how many leaders are fit?

As it is increasingly likely that there will be more away fans than home (just go and check what little few we have sold) My question is when was the last time we were outnumbered at home? !!

We know the score tomorrow. Unless there's a major upset (miracle) we will be beaten leaving us to play out the rest of the season until relegation.

Whether fans like it or not, Brady is likely to start off with us in League 2 in August. He is assessing his squad with games and I think he has a pretty good idea that he would want to offload about 70-80% of the squad if he could. He has a very big job to get rid of anything like that and a very, very big job to start out again in August with a competitive squad to challenge towards the top again of League 2.

That would be a massive mistake to keep Brady if we go down without a fight. I think we should reasonably see if he can make some improvement. If not, he should be replaced. What I am seeing at the moment is making Moore look successful.

Too early to say that.

Moore had 0.68PPG over 22 League Games. Over his first 5 Brady has 0.8PPG.

Never believe what they say on the radio.... they said 1200 Burton fans last weekend.. when there were only 800, so if you believe the commentary you'll believe they sell fish and chips in a hardware store 😉🤣🤣

Really surprised we haven't sold many for this.
