Think I’m in the minority here in that I can see why it’s been given a red. It’s certainly a soft one but if you slow it down, he’s gone over the ball in a bit of a lunge, studs up right on Croasdale’s ankle, and then he’s scissored him with his trailing leg.

No way it gets overturned.

Who gives a <ovf censored> anyway, we are due a decision in our favour for once.

Don't like it as an old fashioned centre half myself - but I don't think you can tackle like that anymore.

Definitely not a red. But given what happened with Byers that won’t be overturned

Terrace talk…. DC to take over on a short term deal until the end of the season.

I hope not!

Nah I can’t see that. And I really hope not too as we all know he loves to stick religiously to 3-5-2.

UV on Twitter FWIW is saying Neil Critchley.

Find it hard to imagine after the way he left!

Well done, the lads. Let’s hope Smith realises he’s stumbled on the formation and selection that truly suits us. Two wingers and two strikers is the way to go.

Just a tad worried that his defensive instincts are so ingrained from his time with Moore that he will bottle it next timevout.

We won’t get out of this playing for Moore-bore draws!

Couldn't tell with the sending off from the Hamil but Honeyman could easily have got a second yellow prior to that.

Smith til the end of the season?

TBF, Leffe Ruby is really good.

That’s one for the ladies. Very fruity. Can’t be doing it with myself. Leave that to the wife……she then says to me….”how can Darren Moore be so rubbish” and I said what if you had to swap roles with someone else in your company every week and learn a new position

Understand the starting 11 'cause Blackpool had got 4 wins in their last 5 games and confidence high, but once Blackpool went down to 10 men the two subs at half time were absolutely correct and the performance and goals showed it.

Not easy to play against 10 men so brill 2nd half performance by Vale.

First half we lacked ideas/creativity, so Rico back and a quality winger on loan in Jan are a minimum .

Bring on Barnsley, 4 losses in their last 6 games so a team not high on confidence and a winnable game. Win the Barnsley match and it's game on.

On TV he goes in but the ball doesn’t move so looks like his foot had gone over the ball or to the side but connects with Croasdale, it’s probably a red these days. They probably should have had a couple more in fairness! Honeyman was a lucky boy as was Horsfall who did about four yellow card offences!

The Lionel Richie lookalike, who most say is quality, is utter garbage again.

This could easily be 4 or 5 by 5 o clock.

How right you were.
