Well well well. Brilliant 2nd half all be it against 10. 
Amazing what happens when play a back 4 and get our creative players with genuine quality on the pitch. Hall was excellent. 

Just to compare. Smith has simply played players in their correct positions against ten men and we smash them. Darren Moore took all our midfielders off and threw a load of strikers on and we failed. A damning indictment of Moote but delighted for the lads here. 

Surely, this is the method now. 442, Curtis and Hall on from the start. We look much more comfortable and it suits the players. This has to give them some confidence. Hall gets an assist, Curtis and cole a goal. 
 

Well done lads, I’ve seen a few post about Ferguson and the 442. I too think that could work. 
Could be a great Job for someone, they’ll get treated like Pep just for not playing hall and Curtis  RWB

Fair play to Smith, he made the correct changes at half time and we deserved the 4 goal win. 4-4-2 works so much better, hopefully he recognises this.

Red card definitely changed the game 

Really does make you wonder why we ever went back to the 3 at the back at Huddersfield as the back four was showing signs of improvement in the games prior.

Do we change were it not for the red ?
