I’ve got my ticket for Luton away, who themselves have been spanked today. I was hoping he’d have been relieved of his duties by now. TBH I hope I don’t regret it.

So, we were playing with 5 up front in the end with Cole as an attacking midfielder.

Although he had a clause in his contract we should have bought out that clause last season as soon as he started scoring.

Money makes decisions and we should have offered him whatever it needed to buy out that clause.

That would involve someone who actually knows what they are doing tho 😂

The only way is up.

Glad i aint online since game .

They have paid 1.2 million for a strikers goal today in Tolaj .

He is still the manager .

Life goes on

Carol will see fit too do what she wants .

Four home league games in row no goals .

Its unbelievable we havent scored today .

Cole has missed a sitter ,and Paton 3 simple chances hit it low too the corners ,least he was  there too miss them or hit them straight at keeper .

Port Vale in league 1 as of today, cannot compete in this league, unless start scoring never will be able too

People cutting up season tickets ive seen ,very over  the top reaction .

I must say Vale deserved win today the fact they havent well thsts why there bottom of the league

UTV

People cut up season tickets because they are pi#sed off with watching the same dog shyte performances week in week out meanwhile carol is in denial and refusing to act decisively

If she's happy to carry on with Darren

Then afraid she is disrespecting the fans wishes

Of all those people you’ve mentioned, the only one of them who has any more idea about football than you or me is Rudge, and he’s in his 80s and been out of the game for decades.

We are an IT company in a football club’s outfit.

Would anyone else take over a complicated business in an entirely different sector - let’s say, from hospitality to software - and just bring over all the hospitality staff and have no software expertise in the building?

I was not saying they be part of the selection of the new manager.  More the fact that the fans are turning on DM & CO as they are getting very frustrated with formations and results are very poor.  Rudge would be someone she would listen to about a manager performance and the fact players seems to be downing tools and just going through the motions and what this means manager wise due to his managerial experience (you can't beat his experience - even if he has been out of the manager game - it would be the same experiences) and will have seen players power get rid of managers when they have had enough of the managers ideas.  Matt should have been talking to her weeks ago to advise they may need to go down the road of replacing the manager - what the steps should be - probably has done so - so we will never know.

With them being football club directors, that is the whole reason why they should have spoken up as they now have the club to look after.  Coming from from a IT background run company and now moved over into these roles, as IT directors they would have voiced their feelings if something was going wrong and needed sorting - so the same logic should be used in their current roles - Carol things are not going well with results on the field and fans getting frustrated - what are your views on this Carol?  Not as if its just started today fans have become frustrated with the manager and co - for a long time now about the style of play/formations and players being played out of position.

Matt and Rudge come from a football background more so than the others,  so they can offer their football advice.  Carol and family need that bit of advice as they are still learning what it takes to own a football club really.  Totally different to a company they built up and sold on.  Could it be being relegated again under DM would cost less than paying DM and staff off - specially as DM on his really long contract.  That is something we will not be told about if that costing exercise has been carried out by Matt in the background.

As you say Rudge and I would add Matt as well -are the ones who have more idea about football behind the scenes than us.  As a fan of many a year and been on the roller coaster of promotions and relegations numerous times, like others you want to see the club climb the ladder and play at the top league only.

Oh the joy of owning a football club people say.  I am grateful of Carol and family saving Vale and again it needs saving before Vale go down again and they are the ones who have to make the hard decisions before it does.  As the family said they have learnt from the past - hopefully they have.

How would you know what the fans wishes are when you don't attend games, don't watch them, and spend each game on here quoting people's posts?

I bet if Steve Evans got the job, after his first defeat you'd be on here: "hE Inna for... me, bring bAck Moore.."

Did exactly the same against Wimbledon, Wigan, Stockport and Bolton. We managed to get an equaliser at Wimbledon, so these are now his fall back, school-ground tactics and his way of changing it when we're losing after about 60 minutes. Like an 11 year old playing Football Manager.

How much would his agent have insisted on? What would have been a realistic sum?

It is entirely possible, maybe even likely, that Tolaj had 0 interest in negotiating the removal of that clause from his contract.  It seems as though a year with us was enough for him.

That goal was <ovf censored> by the way. Gauci should have saved that and some of the others over the last few weeks. His kicking is terrible and I’m not a fan of him laughing and joking all the time, even when we’re 0-4 down. I’m not laughing lad, get Amos in.

Better still Get Darren Gone 👍
