Unabated uncontrolled emotion?!!!

Fella, I’ve been going since 1985. My emotion in this situation has never been more controlled. Like I posted before, I watch from afar and haven’t set foot inside Vale since the Gillingham game. I could have posted weeks and weeks ago about the utter mess the club is in on the pitch but I had controlled emotions.
Angry Spunkers? Nah mate. Not at all. My appetite for football doesn’t make me angry anymore since I thought about taking my own life on three occasions. So quite frankly football doesn’t get me to a point where I’m angry or even where I’m ecstatic, unlike most.
I just look in here every now and then, watch Vale on tv and as a Vale fan still I am allowed an opinion and it’s painfully obvious he should have been fired at least a week ago and Carol is absolutely clueless in these situations with no plan of what to do next.

I’ve been Wembley with Vale. I’ve been Barnet with Vale. I’ve stood with dozens wanting Bratts head. I told you about Smurthwaite long before the majority woke up.  I’ve seen us win. I’ve seen us lose. I used to let it affect me. It doesn’t anymore. I’m just putting out an opinion now.

Crack on mate. If you ain’t on board that the manager should go because some 45 year old bloke on tinterweb annoys you then that’s more a sad indictment of you as a person.

I already said he should go. I can do that without throwing a tantrum because things didn’t go my way. I’ve never wished injury on any of our players either. Maybe we’re just different people eh!

Only thing I really have to say on yesterday, and not sure if it's been covered in other post by other people, but...

If you stood and clapped the players at the end of the game yesterday, you are complicit in the relegation of this club. I couldn't believe my eyes as the players did their lap, what have any one of them done to deserve a clap.

I don’t think the anger is against the players, tbf, I think they are trying. Yes, some of them are not good enough, some lacking in confidence but the big, big problem we have and where the anger is directed towards is our incompetent manager who left the players on their own after that dismal performance. Playing players out of position, useless tactics of hoof it down the line for your forwards to run across to with nothing in the box is just so predictable and waste of time but if that is what they have been told to do then you can hardly blame the players.

Don’t think the players deserved a clap necessarily but the frustration and blame is aimed the correct way. His tactics are letting the players down. I am positive that they are better than this and a better manager would get more out of them by playing them in positions that actually suit them.

Garrity is not a holding midfielder.

John is not a wing back

Paton is not a winger/no.10

I would even throw in Headley who has only played well as a winger this season. I don’t think he’s a wing back personally as he is defensively not good enough.

Cole spends most of his time out wide battling for the ball. We’re not using him properly at all. On throw ins he was down the line battling for the ball. The few times he managed to win something, he was not where you wanted him to be. He should be in the box. It’s no wonder Croasdale is usually on the end of all our chances if our strikers are trying to win headers from throws down the line.

Surely you make the wide centre half take the throw (not the wing back), have Garrity, our best header on the pitch at the time, down the line with the pacey wing back overlapping to win a flick on. The midfielders supporting inside for short throws or knock downs, allowing our STRIKER who is actually a PROVEN GOALSCORER to stay in and around the box. Cole had one good chance all game and although he should have done better with it he should be allowed the opportunity to have more of those chances because he will bag goals.

And that’s just the starting XI. As soon as the subs were made and chaos reigned his let’s just shove everyone on approach was baffling.

Why hasn’t he gone yet.

Can you manage the club as an interim? You will do a lot better than Moore.

Paton did have some great chances. More than 1. Tolaj - one chance one goal. I’m starting question if the players are good enough you know.

We were in a division lower last season yet we are now playing Paton who couldn’t get in the team last season and was shipped out to Scotland crook league. Heneghan was our third choice centre back, and didn’t feature much yet both are now first team players. We’ve taken a step backwards. We sell our best player for 1.3m and sign a replacement who was contracted to another club for nothing, recruitment pre season alongside the worst manager in the division means we are where we are.

I agree @Goodershe was awful and didn't offer anything when he came on. Whenever he played against us he was always a menace in the air as we usually could never cope with him and he was always a threat, last season for us he was a menace as defenders couldn't cope with him but now he is massively struggling and no longer poses a threat like he used to and although he has never been blessed with pace it looks like his legs have completely gone now. I mean I don't think he has got anywhere near to scoring a goal for us so far this season.

Stockley's hardly played and can't be match fit or sharp.

So we are bottom of league one with 11 goals in 17 games,no goals in the last 5 league games... a disgraceful home record...no fight in the team, poor performances to go with it and he is still in charge of the club................. its beyond words it really is

Love Carol for everything she has done here but she really isn't helping herself AGAIN

Allegedly found in the dressing room after the game.

I didn’t want to move from the Bycars either after 50 years in there, would go back in a flash.

I Think The players would probably pay more attention to a cardboard cut out of Rudgie on the sidelines instead of Darren at least Rudgey's cardboard cut out would be more animated than Darren ever is , just saying

A friend of mine sat in the posh seats v Wycombe and he said what stood out was that Moore was barking out orders to the players and he said he couldn't hear what he was saying it was just noise and the players looked like they were taking no notice at all,in fact the only one they seemed to listen to was his 2nd in command.

I noticed when John was waiting to come back on yesterday Moore was raging at him about something and John didn't look at him once or acknowledge him,I am not convinced the players want him there and then yesterday he sends them to get the stick from the crowd at the end while he runs off down the tunnel

Im even more annoyed this morning with the message coming out that he will be allowed to try and ‘turn it around’. Yesterday was his biggest and best chance to do that. And what did he do to turn it around. Nothing. THe same tactics as what got us into this position, with the same nonsense out of position players and the same crazy subs and the same Hail Mary when it doesnt work.

I’ll be honest, i was one of the few who wasnt over the moon with his arrival, and had concerns after his first interview. But right now i think dean glover would do a better job than him with the budget hes been given. And before anyone scoffs at that, we are rock bottom, with a manager unwilling to change, who plays a 6’4 centre half at wing back and our only scoring threat on the wing, and spunked half the budget on players who arent good enough to get into the squad of a bottom of league 1 side. It literally couldnt be any worse. Im not sure ive felt such a disconnect with a manager. I think his football has just knocked any of the joy of Saturday afternoons out of me now.

I'M the same feel the same cut off from the rest of the vale crowd in can't use the closed part but the railway can use all that and the toilet exit food is all at one end of the paddock the only thing stopping full use of  lorne street is the chain stopping you going past the press box when the game is being played,

You’re just upset because he was right about the dog cack of a manager we have in charge.

I am quite prepared to admit I was pro Moore, but you can't condone a performance like yesterday.

Even you have to admit that NN keeps posting the same thing whether its relevant or not.

"I see the post was late this morning"

"tHat'll be mar mortal enemy Darren, get eeem gone"

"NHS waiting lists are up"

"It'll be betTer onCe Darren is sacked 👍"

Its just inconsequential drivel, clearly coming from someone who doesn't watch games, and who hasn't got two brain cells to rub together.

And even if he managed that, he'd blame Darren Moore for him not being able to learn the English language properly.

Where’s the message come from? Radio Stoke or something?

Seemed a decent and honest interview/clip from Garrity on PVTV yesterday. Obviously some media stock phrases, but his body language seemed telling that he’s fed up they’re not winning, but did seem genuine that they’re trying to turn it round. Maybe frustration at DM, who knows

No Radio Stoke mentioned it  40 or 50 times that it was Newport .

All the stats at their fingertips yet they got it wrong on 40 or 50 occasions then.

We were 2-1 down at Walsall in April.

On BBC have your say ( and I get they are biased ) a Plymouth fan posted, : awful childlike commentary from Radio Stoke.

I was at the game so no idea what they were referring to.

However Walsall we were behind unless of course they were specifically on about home games. In which case it was Newport.
