Just me who thought that Gauci could have done a bit better for the goal, again?

Nope it's not just you @JoeB2Gauci definitely should have saved it and he will be very disappointed that he hasn't.

Like others have said, win at Lincoln using the same system and tactics, it would obviously still be just a sticking plaster. The fundamentals would have to be completely overhauled, with player buy-in and the results come with a much more consistent and higher-level performance for Moore to regain any level of trust. That type of turnaround is not going to happen.

My big concern with Carol is we get a draw or a miracle happens and we score and win at Lincoln. This gives Carol confidence to keep limping along with DM. I think she just feels if we can just get to Jan and address the squad with DM we will be ok.

i hope not.

If he’s not sacked we simply have to lose at Lincoln. It would be similar to the Mansfield win keeping Crosby in a job and delaying the inevitable.

Yes but he can still play with his Todger can't he? 🤩🤩

Yes indeed , but NOT over the actions of his MOTHER . That's naughty and mummies "nicey nicey" persona would be tarnished.

Exactly. Then lose the next 3 saying “we just could do with getting back to the levels we showed against Lincoln.” You can see it now.

Anyway, who was fighting in the tunnel at halftime?

I think the worst thing today (among many things) was as soon as we went a goal down you knew we weren’t winning the game. Can only think of Walsall away under DM where we have come back to win, am sure there are others but that’s the only one that comes to mind. I think George Hall was good and personally made a point of applauding him specifically at the end. Heneghan did a decent job too while he was on.

The goal we conceded having seen it again is infuriating. Firstly it’s criminal to concede straight after half time like that regardless but starting with a very half hearted attempt at blocking the cross by Headley and Gauci with a serious case of popadom wrists letting that one in. He got enough of a hand on that he should have pushed that around the post.

Isn’t that the only time we’ve come back to win under him?
Agree on Gauci as well, I think he’s an excellent keeper, but should be doing better with the goal. I posted during the game about Headley. I’ve grown quite a large dislike of him as a footballer, effort never seems to be there, really lackadaisical in his defending, literally just let them cross for the goal and not the first occasion that’s happened.

Dont know , but it wasn't Moore - there is no fight in him. Built like a brick <ovf censored> but acts and speaks like Mr Bean

No Radio Stoke mentioned it  40 or 50 times that it was Newport .

So someone decides the lure of £1.2 million was too good to turn down, the only difference today between two poor sides was Laurent Tolaj. He would have been the asset to keep Vale in the division this season and then build from there on, without any doubt Vale's position would be a better one if he'd stayed, the present forward line up couldn't hit a barn door with a brick. Why not give Ben Waine a go, can't do any worse than those currently being picked?

Whoever made that decision to sell, has to live with it like the rest of us.

It was a release clause, so once met it is activated, it is then the players decision.

No choice. He had a trigger price in his contract that gave him the decision if it was met. Chose a big pay rise and to live in the West Country. Not a difficult one if you have no ties to our area.
