A dire first half between two poor sides who showed why they are propping up the division. A dozy start to the second half saw the inevitable old boy goal and that was that really. Moore's square pegs in round holes policy really comes to the fore when we are chasing a game and for all the talk of preparation during the week, I doubt we're training with Cole on the left wing, Curtis at left back and one recognised defender. It smacks of desperation because that's exactly what it is! There's no plan, it's disorganised chaos and it's the same every week. 

It doesn't make me angry anymore because the fight has been sucked out of me from too many defeats, too many bad decisions and too many relegations over the years. We've all seen this story before and we all know what the outcome will be unless a change is made sooner rather than later. Moore's career before has been made up of promotions with big budgets and fans turning on him when his dire methods lead to inevitable failure. We are another repeat chapter to that story and he has to go. He has to.

I still think Paton has something and plays well with Cole. To be fair on all of our strikers we play to none of their strengths. It would be interesting to see how they’d do under a more tactically knowledgable manager.

There are at least 3 players, who are fan faves, who are just not up to this level .  C Hall, Garrity and Paton. Why not play Stockley and let Cole run on to his knock-ons? .

Our next 2 league games are against 3rd and 2nd in the league. Do we want Moore in charge for those?

I agree. I also think that Stockley and Cole as a front two has the potential to be effective, with a manager that actually plays to players' strengths.
