I remember going to Bootham Crescent home of York City for the younger fans 79-80 season. We lost 5-1, Alan Bloor was the manager and on our way home, we stopped at services. At the services, were some Blackpool fans who told us Bloor had resigned, it was true. Perhaps DM might do the same thing.?

Peter Lorimer destroyed us that day.

I really feel for Auntie Carol - what more does she have to do to just see us through a nice mid table stress free season - just once 🙈🙈🙈

Wish I knew...so far she's seemed to trust bullshi..ers and nice guy losers.

Next two home league matches now are massive. If we fail to at least win one of those, the question needs to be asked…….where are the points going to come from?

Why wait? Questions have been asked for a while?! He’s useless an I speck for fans that go 90 percent of the games aswell

I have refrained from commenting on this forum for a number of weeks, after all, there are more important things in life.

However I have never been a fan of this manager and never will be, his football is poor, signings, in the main awful and his record in league one is worse than any other manager we’ve had.

I thank Carol for saving the club, but this manager is undoing all the good work she has done.

He just got us promoted out of League 2 with a League One Budget, any manager worth his salt would have achieved that !

I hope Carol takes a look at Burton Albion and honestly asks herself, how much better they are doing with such a lower budget.

Come on Carol, forget your loyalty, say what you are seeing and do something about it.

In League 1 we have talked the talk but not walked the walk.

One final comment about Moore, he never blames himself, so self opinionated, he’s annoying.

There is no common denominator, unfair to infer DM as he was only here part of that relegation season and inherited a poor squad after the Jan transfer window was shut.

But Mr moores has put his squad together for over a year, and he can't get a tune out of HIS players. So the common denominator is him . He couldn't motivate the last relegation team to one more win, and he is doing the same with his chosen men.

Nippy took em long enough mate still might take a few months…. No wonder specsavers charge over thee odds!

Evening Vale Heads.

Thought we played really well for the first 30 mins and could easily have been 2-0 up if their keeper hasn't made some brilliant saves. Sitting with my Bolton m8 said that, their keep last year, would t have made those saves.

Disappointed to see how our heads dropped so easily with the first two goals.

Thought we came out strong again second half but went to pieces when the third went in.

I know everyone on here is calling for DMs head but the players have to take some responsibility here too

Also got to give Bolton credit. They were very good.

See you all next weekend for Wycombe

I personally think new direction is required and the players will survive this season. He obviously knows very little about psychology, otherwise if someone played well he’d include the next game. That’s what motivates humans not dropping them, the next game.  A chap on P&G who claimed to be ITK says a source who plays for the club has told him he’s lost the dressing room and there’s no respect for him. Hardly surprising

Osh, they are capable of playing well for 20-25 mins, but it’s a 90 minute game. It’s just when they stop playing well the opposition up their game, we concede and it’s almost game over. The Orient game, excellent to start off with scored could have scored a second but went in 1-2 down. They also had a goal disallowed which was an excellent decision by the ref, for hand ball which other refs may have not disallowed. Second half we were excellent got back to 2-2, then switched off and lost 2-3, last kick of the game. I thought Orient were excellent an excellent team, however their league position proves otherwise.

I can’t disagree with the general consensus on here.

He has to go for me now.
It’s not just the defeat, which I fully expected, it was the manor of it. Total collapse.
The players are no longer playing for him and he doesn’t have the tactical nouse to turn it around.

i don’t mind dull, attritional football when we’re grinding out results. However we’re a million miles from that at the moment.
dreadful in both boxes.

Sorry Darren, thanks and goodbye for me.

I was on those coaches that day.

I was standing by the tunnel during the game and got a smack around the ear from a copper. He could smell the wintergreen coming up the tunnel and asked what the smell was and I said your colleagues. He didn't find it funny.

I remember the Blackpool fans attacking our buses.

But he had 15 games and took us from out of the relegation zone to relegated.  Then he's had numerous transfer windows and brought in players of the calibre of waine , brown and faal. I really despair at the apathy of accepting relegation because we fail to learn from mistakes.  We have great owners but so naive.  Oh well let's hope for a few 1-0s to keep us up . I'm getting very bored with this one dimensional crap!! Rant over

DM inherited a squad in Lge 1 with very few goals in it and dropping like a stone after losing Arblaster and Devine. A team that can't score goals has less chance of winning games and getting 3 points to get out of a relegation scrap.

You won't get any disagreement out of me about signing Faal and Waine although I think the latter is one to try and develop for the future. Positives from the recruitment side are Gaucci, Humphreys, Gabriel, Johnson, G Hall and Cole, why focus on the negatives.

Who's accepting relegation, I'm certainly not. For me the season started when Devante Cole was signed and initially Vale did well but unfortunately we've lost the last 3 games, Wigan was a crap shoot, Stockport played as well as they'll play all season and Bolton with the players they have, if they play as consistently home and away as they've done today will win this league.

We do have great owners but remember the last time we got relegated there were Vale fans calling for the them to resign, which I vehemently disagreed with.

Perhaps given my time as a Vale fan I'm more phlegmatic than most but I don't want to see any bath water chucked out with any baby in it.
