Despite some doubts about Steve Evans, or probably anybody to be fair, I've just watched a recent interview with him and he may not be a bad shout. Since leaving Rotherham, he lost over 6 stone in weight and done some personal life reassessment. He now seems recharged and ready to get back to the touch line, so I'm guessing that his motivation will be through the roof, when he decides to step back in.

As far as Liam Manning is concerned, I'd be wary of appointing  a manager who is coming off a bad run, same as I was we we gave Darren Moore the job. Ideally, whoever and whenever the next manager is, I hope it's someone on the up.

Glad it won't be my decision, but it may be disastrous or brilliant to try to tempt Robbue Savage. Madness if it failed, or inspired if he was able to take us forward.

Robbie Savage would be another good shout , I do like how involved he gets on the touchline and the passion and emotion he shows also his team have a never say die attitude  which was shown in the fa cup.game they played against Luton unlike Darren who is reminiscent of a cardboard cut out standing on the touchline Who never really shows any emotions , Always pisses about with team selections, put players in wrong positions and the football is a proper bore fest

Robbie Savage it is then. Go get him Carol. At least it might keep FGR from coming back to league football

I’m sure we’d improve in January but by then we’ll be so far back it’ll be too late for the centre halves we should have got in Aug to save us.

I wonder if the pair of you can spell or learn the English language by the end of the season?

I bet we’ll learn it quicker than you’ll learn Darren moore needs the boot!

I watch from afar these days.

I see the moans and the defenders of Moore and I’ll just leave this here.
I’ve not been a game this season.
If Moore gets sacked I will return but I refuse to pay to watch his brand of football.

Heres what I did. I stopped watching anything on social media. From an interview with manager and players to monthly updates on the state of the club.
Instead of being brainwashed by that I sat back and let my eyes tell me what I think every week when watching them at home. And here we go……

Boring football. It’s <ovf censored> dreadful. It’s not edge of the seat football. It’s grim to watch and people can bang on about chances missed etc but the build up is dreadful. We don’t give ourselves chances to win games because the majority of the chances are half chances. We don’t score because we don’t create sitters to miss.

The defence is woeful.
Forget the score in the cup, I watched a backline that were the chuckle brothers against a pub team.

The midfield is garbage.
No legs. No tackles. No fight. No assists. Utter <ovf censored> garbage.

The wingbacks. Don’t get me started. It’s so simple to do homework on us. We don’t change shape. Most are out injured anyway. It’s easy to defend against.

The forward options.
Attrocious.
Having watched us beat the pub team, if you think Faal and Brown are anywhere near league one quality then you’re delusional.
Paton doesn’t get a prolonged run and tries too hard when he’s on the pitch and Cole, like it or not, is a downgrade on Tolaj. Look at his goalscoring record. It’s bang average.

The recruitment.
Woeful.
Some clown from Stoke who was awful at his job gets a job here and here we go again! It’s almost like when Flitcroft was as here!
At least 6 or 7 of the summer signings are utter crap.
Now, add that to the fan reaction when Nathan Smith left and Debrah stayed and look at where Tranmere are! And yet Smith is probably better than Debrah, who is an absolute liability.
Still not convinced about Humphries. Shipley? Garbage. Faal? Garbage. Brown? Garbage. Waine? Garbage. Marosi? Embarrassingly garbage. Probably more I’ve missed.

And then after breaking down that our squad is pretty dreadful….. we come to the fist pumping manager.
A bloke who is a clone of Andy Crosby. A bloke who spins you fans with his utter guff every week. A bloke who would make a good politician. A bloke who must put numbers in a bag and pull them out when picking his team. A bloke who is WITHOUT QUESTION welllllll out of his depth with results in league one football and also the football on the eye.

So from someone who has sat back and watched this garbage from afar and kept quiet and not listened to any spin coming out of the club, I’ll ask you this……… If you are happy going to watch this awful drivel every week. Sitting on your arse. Not singing. Because the product is crap. Then you carry on. I’m happy for you.
However………

Make no mistake……

This manager is absolutely clueless at this level. He must resign or get sacked by Monday. He has lost the dressing room. And I’m so glad I haven’t wasted my money on watching the guff he puts out so FA this season.

When an exciting manager comes into this football club and gives it the kick up the arse it needs, I will return.
Hopefully it will take Sir Darrell Clarke to put him out of all of our misery.

In the meantime I ain’t gonna get embroiled in debates. I’ve become detached enough. But I’ll watch with interest as the club sleepwalk to relegation and Carol, YET AGAIN, will let it happen. Or will she? She holds all the cards.

That's a very well presented post ,

And welcome back by the way 👍

Just get rid of the muppet in charge for Christ sake.

Well, that was absolutely dreadful. I don’t even know where to start, and to be honest it probably feels like wasted breath trying to pick apart another abysmal performance.

I think I’ve reached the end of the line with Moore. I like the bloke and wanted him to succeed, but it’s getting harder and harder to see how this turns around. Based on the 15 league games so far, I’m leaning towards the idea that Vale might be better off moving in a different direction.

His League One record with us is embarrassing, and I can’t honestly see where the improvement is supposed to come from. We’ve looked toothless up front all season, and now we look just as soft at the back. There’s no fight, no confidence, and no sign of progress — just regression week after week.

I really feel for Carol and Kevin. They’ve put their money in again, probably given us one of the biggest budgets we’ve had in years, and they’re being repaid with this shambles on the pitch. They deserve so much better than this.

Lots of truth there. This is what has happened and the league position backs him up.

Anyone but him.

For me it’s not just a case of Stockport and Bolton having decent players. It’s the fact of clear gaps and overloads come to light during the game, nothing happens to plug them tactically, then they score. It’s just waiting to lose in a formation that weirdly leaves us exposed defensively and limits our attack at the same time.

I'd go as far as to say anyone but Darren Moore

How many managers have been given the chance to relegate a team out of the same league twice in three seasons. Not many I bet.

It worked for 30 minutes and was only a big mistake by Headley that derailed us.

I know it seemed that players had given up but that second half performance showed exactly why D M chose Headley to play in front of Johnson to stop their attacks.

I was on those coaches that day.

I was standing by the tunnel during the game and got a smack around the ear from a copper. He could smell the wintergreen coming up the tunnel and asked what the smell was and I said your colleagues. He didn't find it funny.

I remember the Blackpool fans attacking our buses.

😂. We were behind the goal. Great days but we were always in Division 4
