Major problem for Carol. Going to cost a lot of money in Jan to keep us up 3 top players at least needed

I really feel for Auntie Carol - what more does she have to do to just see us through a nice mid table stress free season - just once 🙈🙈🙈

It really should be quite normal that a manager who is good at delivering promotions is not as good as battling relegations. They’re completely different skillsets.

There is no shame in moving on and accepting that Moore’s strengths aren’t right for us in this situation. He can go and do what he does with a club looking to deliver a solid promotion.

Just got back, I can’t understand for the life of me why Moore doesn’t play two strikers! Cole gets no support when he’s up there on his own. Our wide men are not close enough to him to assist and none of our midfielders get up there with him. He brings Paton on and plays him wide 🙄. Wins at Barnsley, Exeter and home to Mansfield were achieved with two up top, it really isn’t rocket science. If he doesn’t play two up from these start in our next two home games, he’s going to have to go.

Playing the same formation and expecting a different outcome is the definition of insanity.

This is what really annoys me- Carol will not react and the same mistakes will be repeated.

 

15 matches in and I have accepted relegation! Yes is that right? And we are only in the first week of November.
 

Any other board would be calling a meeting tonight and asking Moore to explain his reasoning behind the picking of players. I have no confidence in Carols ability to grasp the situation and confront Moore. She gives me the impression she does not have the necessary ruthlessness in the arena of football. That is understandable but I’m afraid that is the reason we will be relegated.

Byers has to start for what he gives us on the pitch. Agree he is not the ' superstar ' many made him out to be but he has to start.

Garrity is and has been terrible all season. Add to that his attitude on the pitch is very poor. To leave him on today and move him into Byers position, unless Byers injured, was a shocking decision. D M has a lot to answer for

Finishing the game with Paton on the right wing, George Hall at right-wing back, Walters on the bench, Garrity and Croasdale treating the ball like a timebomb, and three centre halves when chasing the game is sackable in itself. It was genuinely mental.
