DM comes out with another bland after match speech he rolls out after every game.  Confidence, stand resolute and we will set up for the next match by looing at the basics.

I agree. I’ve said so several times. You’re not reading my posts and kicking off.
 

Apologies if this has been discussed before but what involvement does the coaching staff have with team selection and tactics and game plans in advance of the kick off.   Is this a case of Darren asserting own will on everything or is he taking poor advise.   
who’s idea would it be to consistently start with 4 or 5 different players from the previous game and then make 2-4 changes during it.   
Every player knows that two or three average players on the same wavelength (which comes with consistency) can produce more than a star striker trying to do it on his own.   
it seems that either Darren is trying to keep too many players sweet, or he really isn’t a good tactician.

We have the players to do much better so something is wrong and the responsibility for that lies with the manager.

 

Thats the problem Kev - we dont have a TEAM , we have a squad . Any manager who builds a TEAMS identifies the best personel to make the TEAM tick. The main aim of a squad is to fill the gaps when there are injuries etc. Daft Moore doesnt understand that he needs 12 or 13 absolute regulars who can learn to work as a unit and then slot others in when necessary. He is managing like an under 9s manager by trying to please everyone in his stupidly oversized squad. PLUS, and I've said this so many times,  the Vale are great believers that those with an injury history will somehow become immortal when they sign for us . We take on the injured of the world and expect them to become the next Lazarus and pick up their bed and not only walk, but run.  Moore doesn't understand the meaning of TEAM he only thinks Squad.
