Chill and try to enjoy your evening, all Vale fans.

Have a glass or two and give yourself a break.

We’re not even playing badly when the game is 0-0. We look pretty good.

The issue being we’re not League 1 standard in either box and then crumble when the first is conceded.

There is a decent League 1 team in this massive squad which needs some sensible management.

Yeah a that pretty standard in any division of management wake up and smell the coffee the guys crap he talks  the way he manages crap!

QV,

I agree with the great majority of your posts, but think you're off the mark there.

Vale's first 30 minutes today was a sparkling performance for the manager.

And then we were outplayed by a side which costs nearly twice our budget, and which hence has Championship-standard players.

It's our performances against the EFL1 bottom-half teams which will define this season.

With respect Alan. No one is judging Moore on one performance. There is a catalogue of catastrophes,  sprinkled with brief intermissions of quality, but that in itself cannot hide the abysmal record that DM has in L1, which shows no sign at all, of improving. Its that clear I'm afraid.

The very unpopular view is that Steve Evans would gel with PVFC very well. We’d absolutely love to be hated and be an aggressive, horrific side.

It really hasn't.

And it won't in the foreseeable future.

And no, the players have not remotely given up on him, there is no sign of that at all.

They were simply not good enough to match today's high-quality opposition.

Out of interest, when would enough be enough?
Im curious given we’re bottom, haven’t scored in three. Worst side at home in the league, spent a fair bit of cash etc

Bradford budget is 3 times more than Burton

Yet we leave Captain Ben to walk around the middle of pitch

He’s another shoe him the door back to Liverpool times us !

I'm not bothered that we lost away to a team we wouldn't expect to beat but I am bothered by the way we rolled over. None of them even looked bothered they looked beaten when the second went in there was simply no reaction from us they just accepted it.

DM isn't doing it for me and Im sensing there are a lot of unhappy players in our squad.

We have the players to do much better so something is wrong and the responsibility for that lies with the manager.

We were not out played for the first 30 minutes, we were the better team, then we went a goal down and that was it. Not just today, even a big chunk of last season, the players are not happy and it looks like it’s getting worse, no consistent team, play well and get dropped, I can see why.

Is there enough pies for him to come here?  He is a horrible manager and one you hate when playing against that team.  But he does get results with the team he is with for a while.  His teams do fight for the win and not just do what Vale players are doing, roll over and tickle my tummy.

If Bolton didn't have that Cozier-Duberry they would be a mid-table team IMO.

I dont think they would tbh, they have a very good manager

The idea that you simply must accept a hammering because they have a bigger budget really begs the question as to what the point is?

Alan - last night you were decrying the negativity in predicting defeat, and now have about-turned to claim we couldn’t expect to not lose 4-0 as they have more money!

You can’t insist on pre-match positivity and post-match cynicism. It’s one or the other. We either had every right to be positive and can therefore be furious at the capitulation, or can have predicted doom pre-match and be proven correct.

Did you go today? The players visibly crumbled after the first. There is every sign of it.

The difference in us Alan is that I am willing to accept I have got things wrong and change my mind, whilst you operate from a first principle of positivity and reverse engineer your opinions to fit.

Today was a clear example of a squad completely disengaging. If you reject that then there’s no common rational ground for us to meet on.

Get a grip we’re 21st and <ovf censored> new manager involved side it out Carol !

Just when you think his interviews can't  get anymore embarrassing
