Well I've been in the Moore in fanclub 🫣,but after the last few games I'm afraid his time has come to go, he's lost the dressing room imo,he doesn't have a plan B when we go behind, new ideas are needed and we shouldn't leave it to late to find another manager to take over, I feel sorry for carol but I'm afraid it's time to get the hatchet 🪓 out and get rid asap.... UTV, VTID.

You are not alone.  I wanted the same and like most Vale fans wanted DM & Co to make it in this league.  However, it isn't working and fans can't see where the wins will come from now.  We already know what the after match speech will be.  We will learn from it and the players tried really hard and gave everything.  Yes he wont slate the players - but may be he needs to as the fans are now turning on him and the players.  Vale Park will get toxic now and fans will be protesting soon and getting the coffin dusted ready for its outing.

On the bright side, Plymouth were daft enough to give us a big wedge for him.....

😂😂

TBF, he scored again today, and isn't doing too bad in a very poor side.

There’s a very difficult conversation to have about what Devante Cole does when he doesn’t score goals.

I’ve got absolutely nothing against Darren Moore on a personal level in fact I like him, He seems a very decent bloke and I thank him for the promotion.

This can not go on any longer the players are not playing for him and it’s hardly surprising when for example Paton scores a couple of goals, confidence flying and then confidence knocked back down again when left out the following week the same for Hall the treatment of Walter’s, The blindness towards Garrity, the list is endless, Bad management.

Not to mention going to football is an expensive game, there aren’t gonna be many on the gate next Saturday.

It seems like we get to this point every 18months-2 years, where the players don't want to player for the manager any more.

QV,

I agree with the great majority of your posts, but think you're off the mark there.

Vale's first 30 minutes today was a sparkling performance for the manager.

And then we were outplayed by a side which costs nearly twice our budget, and which hence has Championship-standard players.

It's our performances against the EFL1 bottom-half teams which will define this season.

we always lose any control we had in midfield when byers goes off every other player in there wins the ball then gives it away again or wins the ball and smashes a hopeful long ball up to nobody. I agree he hasn't been quite as good as advertised but we miss him when he isn't there. I think loyalty to gazza could cost dm his job instead of doing what was needed bringing hall on for gazza he moves gazza to byers position, one we know he can't play, just to keep him on the pitch. Madness

My issue is Byers is that he starts even when he's previously had a really bad game. Just maybe benching him here and there will help or make him raise his game a little. But he is a League One level player at his best, whereas Garrity isn't. At least not now. Doesn't seem to have the legs he once did while he also has little goal threat these days.

I'd sack him now to give us any hope of staying up. 13 points from 15 games is simply pathetic.

11 goals, too.

I agree IMO the attendance will be around 5,500.

Not easy when completely isolated. I thought he won a lot of headers and never stopped running. Not saying a lot, but of those that lasted the 90, he and Johnson were the best.

To be honest I couldnt care less what his game is like as long as he scores. He won’t get many with tactics and selections like that though

Just seen Wycombe ? Good team.....

Everyone sees two home wins as a start to our rise up the league. Not a chance !!

Some think no worry for now, we will start the run after Christmas. WOW couyld be 12 points from safety by then.

We need to start NOW

Duff has taken Wycombe from bottom of the table to 9th,I really like him as a manager, likes attacking football, that will be a really tough game

Then we have to hope that Plymouth dont sack Cleverley because all the teams at the bottom who have sacked their managers have improved

the time for Moore to be sacked has come.

The players have given up on him. Every time we concede, it’s curtains. The body language of some senior players is absolutely appalling. The resilience isn’t there at all, and that’s sort of Moore’s biggest selling point.

It really hasn't.

And it won't in the foreseeable future.

And no, the players have not remotely given up on him, there is no sign of that at all.

They were simply not good enough to match today's high-quality opposition.

Know that new manager or sacked manager bounce other teams get when they are about to play against us.  That is the one Vale never get to experience.  🤣
