No offence Alan but you're such an optimist you'd cheer on frozen <ovf censored> if it were in charge.

Today was absolutely dreadful, no hiding from that performance.

I'm not sure where I am yet on the manager question, but not happy with that today at all.

This is why Carol and Co need to start thinking about possible replacements now. Speak to Rudge and others for their views on a replacement.  DM is a nice bloke and wanted it to work for him.  However, it seems a league to far for him.  Been backed by Carol & Co and it seems to have been wasted.  Really loosing the fans and the players must be very frustrated as well.

Yes, the players. Imagine what it’s like playing week after week in a side you know is not the best one we can put out and fearing the inevitable defeat. Just demoralising.

No wonder we can’t summon up a win and Darren has to take responsibility.

Time for change.

He was more than good enough first half playing one of the 10s.

As soon as he dropped deeper he looked poor. That doesn’t mean he’s a bad player or he’s past it. It means he’s not being utilised properly.

Same as a lot of players. I can’t see how some of these players can be happy playing under Moore. He stifles them and moves them out of position.

Look at Ronan Curtis and the reputation he had before he came to us. When has he been allowed to cut in from the left and shoot from distance? Never. Yet it was his whole game previously

Garrity is poor. Should not be playing. Especially with those lead boots on

Excellent? It was dross. We were dire in most of the games. There is a reason the Doncaster fans were singing your football is <ovf censored> last August or September whenever it was. My offer before kick off still stands - we will finish below 16th.

And I don't think we have enough to stay up even when he's gone. There's a gulf between league one and league two and the players we've brought in this season are no better than the ones weve lost.

Jesus, it must be bleak in your world!

A promotion season is not good enough for you, you can find no joy at all in it?

Again, give your head a wobble.

I find your optimism infectious but we are currently not consolidating by any stretch of the imagination. Ultimately we need a settled squad and consistent team selection. It's rinse dry, repeat stuff at present.

Could be worse.  We could have decided for a big fee to throw our lot in with Plymouth! 😂🤣

Time to go DM

Poor tactics.

Poor recruitment.

Poor football.

Well, for one, I'm here.

And I say give him more than one season, because this is a long-term project.

Once again, the challenge this season is simply to consolidate in this division - achieve that, and this season is a success.

And we will not be playing a Championship-budget team every week.

I was thinking the same as you early in the season.  Consolidate in this division and sit below mid table - result.  Then we can start pushing for play offs place.  Now its hoping we can get a few wins to close the gap to the fifth placed team from the bottom of the league.

Now I just can't seem where the wins will come from - can't score, can't defend and now the players seem to have given up.  Phil and Yates have said that DM & Co have picked some weird sides and not worked for him.

Players know the fans are now turning on them by the sounds of it, as they are not going to over to the fans.

We're going to end up beating the Gas, getting a peach PL tie in the third round of the FA Cup with Moore in charge again, aren't we?

The players have given up. That’s the time. It’s not even the results. It’s the complete collapse of mentality. The time has come. This ain’t coming back.

Same happened against Wigan and Stockport. Usually a tell tale sign of when a managers time is up

Still, let’s take the positives…..

1) The “confidence is back” after sticking 5 past an 8th tier side,

2) We never lose when Garrity plays and;

3) We’ve got an abundance of riches in midfield.

Now I feel so much better

After starting so bright how can we all of the sudden become so bad after going a goal behind? Lack of confidence, lack of commitment, I don’t think a big chunk of these players want to play for Moore now.
