Next two home league matches now are massive. If we fail to at least win one of those, the question needs to be asked…….where are the points going to come from?

I can't see us beating Wycombe as they have picked up under Michael Duff and well I think we all know what's going to happen against Plymouth.

The sooner he is sacked the better realistically, the later we sack him towards the window the bigger risk sacking him would be, If we plan on getting someone in we need to give them time to settle down. They need to be bloody proven though. Dont bother sacking dm if we are going to get someone who's no good.

This is why Carol and Co need to start thinking about possible replacements now. Speak to Rudge and others for their views on a replacement.  DM is a nice bloke and wanted it to work for him.  However, it seems a league to far for him.  Been backed by Carol & Co and it seems to have been wasted.  Really loosing the fans and the players must be very frustrated as well.

The League table never lies. We are not good enough at present.

We've not been good enough for a while now in the league

That’s the problem. I wanted Moore because he was proven and seemed good.

We need a manager who will actually get us exited with recent promotions under their belt.

He can attract decent players to the club, problem is he can't get a tune out of them.

Last 2 league games we've conceded 7 and scored none (game still in play so could be more goals against yet)

We are currently joint bottom of the league, can’t score (In the league) and can’t win at home (In the league). We are going down if we don’t change things. Any other manager would have been sacked by now but Darren has the safest job in football simply because the owners are too nice and aren’t ruthless enough. Thanks for last season Darren but poor recruitment in the summer, failure to play a settled team with desperate substitutions every match, it’s time to go for me. The happy clappers will disagree though.

Showing his lack of L1 ability

He was more than good enough first half playing one of the 10s.

As soon as he dropped deeper he looked poor. That doesn’t mean he’s a bad player or he’s past it. It means he’s not being utilised properly.

Same as a lot of players. I can’t see how some of these players can be happy playing under Moore. He stifles them and moves them out of position.

Look at Ronan Curtis and the reputation he had before he came to us. When has he been allowed to cut in from the left and shoot from distance? Never. Yet it was his whole game previously

If only he could cross a ball and thats not taking the pi$$. i agree but he is not the finished player we need. Same as several others, all decent at parts of their game but not overall good enough,

His determination and character are valuable assets for us. these qualities are much needed throughout team at the very least , even when the quality is lacking. The whole set up with formation, team selection and rotation is just wrong and the players seem to be jaded and frustrated by this. I didn't expect us to win today but the performance and lack of confidence on the pitch is alarming.

Can we stop with Moore now before we end up in a mess with a load of overpaid players that just aren’t that good

too late

We’ll learn from this.

I just don’t know who we can get in though, I really hope Moore can turn things around although I’m not confident he is capable

Last 3 league games.
Wigan 1-0 Port Vale (against 10 men)

Port Vale 0 - 3 Stockport

Bolton 4 - 0 Port Vale

He needs to go

"They look like they've given up now to be perfectly blunt"

The players gave up after 36 minutes.

Most of these high level decisions I would imagine rudge is the one giving the advice. If we sack him rudge said so if we keep him rudge said to. Keep that in mind, I can't imagine Carol wouldn't take is advice.
