She wants us to enjoy it the way we did at Wimbledon, I'm sure if everyone stays off the pitch, then the celebration will go on for longer.

Is it that difficult to do what our owner is asking of us.

I noticed our carol was on the pitch  at Wimbledon.  😉😄

Ban her. 😂😂

I got dropped off about 11:40, Waterloo Rd is gridlocked already. Stationary a long way back.

15k from a full house gate receipts is peanuts. 3 weeks wages of one player.

As I alluded in my original message it’s a bit different than a Swindon when it’s all going to get a bit sour and cause trouble.

A last minute winner to win the title with an outpouring of emotion at the final whilst and fans on the pitch… I don’t see the harm in that at all.

So, you do not give a flying fook about the clubs owners, manager or players?

The very same people that have given us promotion and that have enabled us to have today’s like today?

An all-time colossal balls up, this.

Did anyone, at any point, stop and think about this?

I’ve got a spare ticket in the valiant suite £85 if anyone wants it…. Someone can’t make it - sat in the posh seats (send me a DM)

It isn't! The centre of Burslem is definitely closed.
You'd have to come off at Tunstall and come down Hamil Rd from the north east, or come off at Etruria, cut across Sandbach Rd towards Smallthorne, past Burslem cemetery on your right (don't turn left and go up through Cobridge on Waterloo Rd towards Burslem as the centre being closed means it will likely be a nightmare), and then turn left to come down Hamil Rd.
For anyone coming from Tunstall, Louise St just off Lorne St is down as completely closed due to watermain works, there's no access at all as the road will be dug up, so if you come down Dolly's Lane towards Lorne Street/Bycars lane you'll get trapped at the end unless you turn left up Shaftsbury Ave back towards High lane, away from the ground and back on yourself. Nightmare.
Glad I'm not driving, it can be difficult enough to get away after the game when the crowd is sub 5000. Today will be, simply, chaos. You might want to get your ticket office tents and camp stoves out again.
All the closures etc can be seen here -

Hi got here fine but it was a bit of a way round . Came off the D road onto the A53 leek road. Then up to the A5272 Hanley road only to find it was closed. Had to turn back down the Leek Road then a sharp right onto Sandbach road at the back of Sneyd Park. I was then able to get onto High Lane, then down the Hamil. Not too bad a route but this was at 11.30am can only imagine it's going to be rammed later. Actually after years of going through Wolstanton, Porthill then Middleport it's not a bad alternative.

First positive of the day...Burnley have conceded so Vale still have the joint record as best defence.

Now to emulate the 58-59 achievement as Champs

Derby look absolutely hopeless. If this is the standard I fancy us next year.

Well you can pay the fine then. Why are so many folk convinced that it will be OK to go on the pitch because it’s what THEY want to do so stuff Carol, the players, the club and everyone else in the ground??

It’s lost on me. I really don’t get it, irrespective of the fines, sanctions etc. what are we, all 5 years old or something?? Just absolutely no need or point to it.

We set the record, someone needs to beat it if they want it.  Nice try Burnley, but not this time.
