He was 22 last year though lol. Hanlan is 28. As someone else said, though, Grant McCann is no mug

Jordan Shipley is a decent addition. One of Shrews better performers any time have seen them. Good age as well, just entering his prime. Pushes Ojo further down the pecking order.

But then for every player like that there are numerous more that turn out like Loft. I’m not saying Wiki is the place to judge but I do think on here if someone says we signed a good player based off wiki then it’s all good, if there is any contention then your told you’ve just checked wiki. 
 

To be clear I don’t think we need a proven goal scorer, we have two very good forwards already, I’d rather us take a punt again like we did with Tolaj and Paton last summer rather than someone who hasn’t scored really at any club he’s been to and has had a bad recent injury 

Shipley is a decent player, good signing that I can’t imagine has broken the bank.  Ojo will certainly leave, we’re definitely sorted in those wing back and midfield positions

Now we're cooking.

Shipley has always impressed me. Great left foot. Technically very good. Played a lot of L1 football.

Like last season, midfield looks decent.

However, the injuries to Byers and Garrity turned it into a problem area.

I think we were so fortunate that Walters came good when he did. Otherwise, I'm not at all sure we'd have been looking forward to a league one season.

So it's reassuring that we've signed another decent looking player.

Seems like a solid, reliable, mid-table League One midfielder in his prime. Not too sexy or exciting, but I don't think the club does the "Mr Shirt off the Back" award anymore... not since Dodds left come to think of it?

I cant see whats not to like with this one really,experienced at this level and above,can play in a few positions,a good age at 27 and I see him as an upgrade on Ojo,Lowe and Harper so this is a good one for me

Funny enough,yes is actually the answer 🙂 he has apparently played in every position other than CB and striker
