Being surrounded by Shrewsburys awful midfield last year won’t have helped. Being able to play with Byers, Garrity, Croasdale, Walters will be beneficial for his game hopefully.

They're likely basing it off a dreadful relegation season where they finished bottom, -38 GD and 14 points off safety. Would any player be complimented?!

Season before he got 7 goals in 37 games, and season before that played 50 games and scored 5.

It's a solid signing for me.

Byers, Croasdale, Walters, Garrity, Shipley, Rico feel like good enough midfield options for L1.

I can't offer anything other than welcome Jordan. Most football passes me by lately and I only really know what's going on with teams rather than individual players and what they can bring, so am in awe of some peoples knowledge (don't know where you get the time).

Left footed/ sided, so I've read, so more balance in midfield and hopefully bye bye Ojo.

I think a lot of Chelsea youngsters will be loaned out to lower league clubs this summer,this lad wont be for us though as he plays RB/LB but he is the type I think the new head of recruitment will be tasked with finding.

I dont think any of our signings so far will be his finds,he will be more for the January and next summer windows I would guess although he might know of a couple of loans this window with his contacts in the game

Seems like a case of if we can get his confidence back we have signed a quality league 1 player at just relegated to league 2 in a rubbish team prices.

I think so far Shipley and Gabriel will be the two first team players, I can see Shipley starting ahead of Croasdale and then Gabriel clearly at RWB. Squad is looking much stronger now. A couple more first team additions at the back and up top (and for me a keeper but I know I’m in the minority there) and we should have a very solid league 1 side

Sounds like a player that if we can get him confident he'll be decent, and even if he's cack he's only got to be better than Harper or Lowe off the bench...he can't really lose.

I thought the transfer window was closed 

He actually sounds very similar to Ojo, a decent player for the level if his heads in the right place. The landlord of my local is a Shrewsbury fan and his text back to me this morning was less than complimentary. Says that Funso is twice the player he is and he'd happily swap.
