Agreed. I thought Croasdale was ok as well

I think Croasdale and Stockley had good games, Hall and Curtis had a decent game, the rest were pretty shocking.

The travelling support deserve a refund. At least they turned up unlike the players.

They're absolutely terrible. Squad ravaged by injuries. Playing them at a great time & we've not got off the bus.

Worst 90 minute performance of the season with one of the worst individual performances from Debrah you will likely ever see.

Heneghan the only one to come out with any credit. Won everything in the air.

Ref an absolute shower throughout.

I thought they were a physical, high-pressing side with three decent centre backs. Little was good till he went off, then they brought on the likes of Williams and Nolan who are good L2 footballers.

On a bad run but, as I said pre-game, a bit of bad luck in that.

Did they deserve to pay more when we won the last 3 away on the bounce?

Genuinely, lads, we've won 8 of 10 and sit 3 points clear at the top of the table. Calm it.

Safe trip home Vale fans who went down there.  You did not deserve that performance from the Vale players.

A loss at some point was inevitable, however what has really disappointed me today was the lack any kind of pressure towards the end of the game like other teams have done to us at home, Wimbledon bring the latest example of that.

DM got it wrong today unfortunately, timing and personnel of all the subs wrong. Onto the next game UTV

8th, 4 points off 2nd. They're absolutely fine.

Can’t go all season without losing. Scrappy game. Awful goal to concede. If Stockley puts his chance away we probably go on to win in a perfect away performance again.
Not disheartened. Still 3 clear at the top.
Croasdale man of the match for me.
Jesse Debrah is fast turning into last seasons Jesse Debrah.
That was as bad as a centre back performance you will see all season.

Plenty to work on still. Big game next week, where if we have aspirations of winning this league we need to put bottom of the table to the sword

A dismal performance will hopefully equate to a massive kick up ones arse [emoji1787] for all concerned

I'm not sure there's a single lower-league manager, or any manager bar Pep Guardiola, who doesn't rely on low-margins. It's a low-margin sport with a lot of chaos and not a great deal of control. I couldn't name a League 2 team who don't rely on fine margins to win games.

Not sure about that. The better teams in the division - those challenging for the automatics - generally find a way. It sounded - and I can only go off Bowers commentary - like we created little and were overrun for most of the game against a team on a shocking run of form.

They were crap, and we were just as bad, quality in this division is very much lacking.

I have to say, I don't know why Hackford and Richards were on before Paton. We needed a grafter to battle them today. Paton offers that to us.

Absolutely woeful game to watch and woeful performance. Not sure any vale player comes out of that with any credit today. Put it to bed move on and respond on Saturday. (Not arsed about Tuesday)
