Just getting my head around the sky sports offering.

Am I right that if you don't have sky sports+ that the only way to watch this game is to get a now TV £14.99 day pass?

No, you need a month membership to get sky+. A daily membership only gets you the non interactive sports channels(main event, premier league etc)

Hi Vale Fans- If you are coming to the Salford game on Saturday..just to let you all know we are a chosen pub for away fans visiting the Peninsula Stadium ..,and as such you are more than welcome to call in for a friendly pint or two pre or post match! We are a Customer owned pub (Community Pub) just about holding our heads above water so all football trade is really important to us. We have lots of comfortable covered outdoor space and parking is easy in surrounding streets. We always have two hand pumped real ales on and the usual selection of lagers, stouts and alcohol free … We don't do food as yet (but more than welcome to bring you're own) If you have a coach coming please let us know and we will put extra staff on! Bar Telephone (Cath and Dave) (after 3.30 pm on weekdays ) is 0161 792 4184 - we are the nearest proper Pub to the stadium about a 20 minute easy walk- or £5.00 in an Uber.. directions, photos and more info on our Facebook Page [https://www.facebook.com/StarInnOnTheCliff]

That's how it should be!!!😁

Last 4 matches with them have been a 1-0 to either side so I can't see it being a goalfest. As for people predicting based off our pre season- Salford lost their most recent pre season game 5-2 vs National League Rochdale.

Yeah unless you get an iptv account & stream it that way

Pvtv is now live and offering subscriptions if your out of the uk.

disclaimer I tried a vpn last season, got nowhere with it, and ended up deciding it wasn’t worth the hassle, I’ve gone with now tv sky sports £26.99 per month if you sign up on the WEBSITE or it was £32.99 per month on the app. That way I can watch on my Roku devices at home and in my caravan and on phone and iPad.

With a degree of trepidation from many Salford fans, we start our L2 campaign tomorrow at home to relegated Port Vale. As you miht expect I'm worried about this game, and based on some of our ropey pre season performances, culminating in last week's 💩 show at Rochdale I can't see us getting anything. We're still a few players short, notably in CM and up front and I can see us being overrun as we were many times last season.

I expect we'll line up in a 4231 something like Jones, Olopade, Negru, Tilt, Garbutt, Ashley, Lund, Nmai, Woodburn, McAleny, Dackers. I've assumed Edwards and Stockton are injured in light of no injury updates whatsoever from the club. I'm going full on doom and predicting a 3-0 defeat, I just hope I'm wrong

Wouldn't be shocked to see Debrah start at right-back in the short term.

When we have the ball we move into a back 3 with Hart pushing really high up on the left, so it would be a Debrah-Heneghan-Hall backline.

Or even Smudge if fit

Watched training today… Smudge and Jones were not on the grass. Everyone else was out there in some shape or form including Kyle John.

Watching the lads up close I really like the look of our squad. This squad has much more quality than last 2 seasons with the potential to surpass the last promotion winning team in my view.

To top of it just had the notification reminder…. Footballs back!!

No chance we don’t sign John now, he’s been with us too long imo not to sign a deal

On paper the squad is far superior to the promotion squad... however football isn't played on paper I guess!

Jones has been injured as usual

Didn't realise these did so badly last season

Don’t mean to hijack the thread but I’m buying a ticket for myself and my lad as we’re coming down from Leeds for the first home game of season and just wondered where the best place for him to experience his first Vale game will be.
I can’t decide between the Hamil Road and Paddock. Hes 10 so would like him in and around some of the atmosphere.
