Imagine being the owner of a club on the up and then telling your DOF that you want to lower the wage bill and anyone who is earning over X amount has to take a pay cut or leave. What a reward for winning promotion!

Gibbons is better than Clark by a mile.

Gibbons was consistently good while with us. Clark had a first good loan spell then been living off that reputation

Given the outlay on Loft and Ikpeazu, I am reluctant to believe that without evidence.

Lott was cheaper than Harrison. Not sure about Uche. Think he was potentially a desperate signing to win the fans over

Uche was probably a desperate signing because he was available and was willing to sign for us.

I think Mitch Clark is a far better player than Gibson for said right back position. He's had a bad injury twice, but should otherwise stay fitter. For me Gibson was a stand crosser, Clark isn't. 

Be interesting to see how he does for us next season in league two. I’m more than happy to say he hasn’t done much for us in all his spells at the club. It’s a big season for him.
