If I put myself into Carols position right now, I would be really struggling emotionally and mentally.  Carol had total trust in Dave Flitcroft and he has only been gone for a very short time.  I would imagine there is some sort of grieving process she is going through.

The video that was recorded of her in the Valiant Suite and then put online has effected her trust in how things are perceived.  She will feel that everything she says will be used against her and that leaves her in a very isolated and difficult position when it comes to communication.  It was very naïve of her to do what she did in front of paying fans, they are not trusted friends.  However, publishing a video of somebody clearly distressed is a pretty awful thing to do and most of us would have been absolutely devastated by it. 

We feel like we do about the situation as fans, imagine having invested millions and ending up back at square one, how would you feel?  Yes there is plenty that Carol herself has done wrong, not least trusting the former DoF, but even if it is her fault she is still a person who needs to come to terms with it all.

I am prepared to give her next season.  The Shanahan's have the very best interests of the club at heart, even if they are getting it wrong at the moment in various areas.

Lets just remember that whilst its ok to criticise what's happened, its not ok to criticise Carol as a person.  She probably needs more support right now than ever before.

I have been tempted on many occasions to comment on here but stopped you will all be please to learn Carol was seen at the awards evening on Sunday apparently looking gaunt and extremely emotional l suggest you read this post every time you want to plough into her she does not deserve any of the vile stuff being hurled at her

I only come on here. I've seen no vitriol or vile abuse. More reasonable debate about taking eye off ball and things going awry.

Maybe other social media is nastier which if so is out of order.

If you feel that much compassion to Carol then compensate her by reimbursing her with some of the money you extracted from her, when you held a gun to the clubs head.?. This is our club nothing to do with you anymore. Go stick your nose into someone else’s business. Adios.

There has been some directed to her with comments on twitter (x) which obviously you can tag in so they see it and are notified.

Shes messed up but doesnt deserve abuse and we need to support her and the club in trying to put things right going forward.

Exactly Carol DOES NOT deserve personal abuse.

She will be hurting right now and I know she has made some wrong decisions but she has not made them deliberately.

She has to try and get True Vale Supporting   Football People to help her get through this.

I hope in the future she cuts out the stupid statements she has made and doesn’t, let’s say, get Hoodwinked going forward.

Most of us knew what was coming. Vale have this habit of building your hopes up and as soon as anything goes against them they cave in. Can blame Moore, can blame the payers but a lot of it is down to psychology. We keep throwing away leads, Exeter came back from being 2 down in their previous games, the writing was on the wall as soon as they got a goal back.

Somebody who used play told me it goes ON .

They are good enough and why would you be low on confidence after playing superbly first half surely you come out and do the same again second half GRANVILLE.
