Kane and Rudge statue comparison

Whilst the quality of the Kane statue looks pretty awful the cost of £7200 surprised me when compared to the £100000 cost of the Rudge statue.

 

I believe the cost of the Rudge statue includes the ground work etc to put it into place but the price difference is huge.

There doesn't look much surface detail on that.  Go look at the level of surface detail on the Sproey statue.  It's fabulous.  I had it in storage for years whilst we awaited it's erection.  Got quite attached to it!

The Kane statue is pants. Not a patch on Sproey.  Looks like it was knocked out in a couple of days!

Perhaps if we bought the Kane statue, he’d be available for selection this weekend. Probably be more of a goal threat, than what our current strike force are capable of producing.

I’m not surprised by the low cost of the Kane statue, it looks like someone asked a group of year 11’s to “make something out of chocolate”.

If the Rudge statue were to cost £7,200 and ended up looking like that Harry Kane statue then I'd rather no statue at all.

Biggest difference is (a) the statue was funded by Waltham Forest Council so they spent public money on that (b) the Kane statue actually exists and we only have a micro miniature of the Rudge statue

Can see that as did work colleagues (in Cambridge) when I first showed them the pictures of Rudgie’s statue.  It was the flat cap and finger pointing upwards- That’s out!

Is it Harry Kane or Max Headroom? (sorry for the 80’s throwback)
