I wouldn't say I enjoyed DI's contributions but I would say forums are richer with a wider range of opinions, even if some of those opinions don't make that much sense. I hope he comes back and I for one look forward to seeing a new user with a random username posting some eccentric team lineups in the future.

Agree with the posts or not they are extremely passionate and love for the club is undeniable.

If only our players showed any of Devine Interventions passion we wouldn’t be in relegation spots.

Good teams have independent brilliance by the bucket load and there is nothing wrong with individuality in football...in fact, it is what sets teams apart

 

But successful teams work together and have an understanding and anticipation of each others movements. That is what makes teams that go for promotion.

Which is why Vale must stop with this nonsense loanee system which appears to have escalated to new heights under Fraudcroft's direction

Therefore, no way will a team gel with constant loanees from bigger clubs. If Fraudcroft doesn't know this, what is the point of his role?

I'm not bothered about the beginning of the season though. We could have gone top at one point. I'm bothered about the last couple of months and how we now look like the worst team we've had for many years.

Shrewsbury will likely beat us simply because they have actual strikers and they are unlikely to be so generous at the back.

You were the one bringing up the beginning of the season 🤣 yeah I agree if we are sloppy at the back like we have been for the majority of the campaign then we ain’t getting a result. These are the lowest scorers in the league for a reason so there strikers won’t be up to much. It would be typical Vale tho to concede a hat full 🤦‍♂️

I hope Devine Intervention comes back but I can fully acknowledge his frustration at some of the vile unpleasantness directed towards posters by a certain minority even when it hasn't initially warranted provocation

It is sad all the same but says more about some of the unpleasantness he has received than it does about him
