Yeah I was pretty depressed with a couple of minutes to go at the scores, Charlton missed a 1 on 1 on the 98th minute as well which would of been a huge blow.

Shrews dropping two points is massive as their GD is terrible, Reading dropping points keeps them close ahead of a huge game.

 

Big weekend, Charlton go to Bolton, Reading go to Portsmouth Shrews host Wigan, Burton go to Orient who are flying at the minute so an opportunity for us if we can find a way to beat Cheltenham. If we can get out the drop zone above Charlton with 3 games in hand and stretch the lead on Cheltenham back to 5 points that would be a huge boost.

To be fair though Warren, the goal we conceded was terrible defending.
Loft misplaced a header back towards Grant who slipped and allowed the midfielder free rein to push onto our half.
A simple pass through Smiths legs and Lowe just watched as the winger slung over a deep cross where Jones allowed the 5'4" No10 to outjump him and plant a header into the bottom corner leaving Ripley rooted to the spot.
Darren wasn't happy !

The goals we concede generally have three forms. 

The hopeless way of playing wingback where teams get in behind wide and can almost dribble up to our goal. 

Not defending freekicks and corners well enough  

Big mistakes including giving the ball away in exposed positions, falling over and leaving  attackers unmarked. 

I'd expect Darren Moore first of all to try and make the defence tighter. If the opposition get nil you have a chance.

Picture of the pitch has disappeared, looked terrible. Apparently on its 5th year and due to be restored. May have to consider a hybrid pitch.

Peterborough United's pitch situation is an 'unmitigated disaster' but club are ready to spend big again in the summer (peterboroughtoday.co.uk)

Listened to MacAnthony on Talk Sport Friday. I normally find that he talks a lot of sense, even though he is a massive Liverpool fan. He was claiming that he pays the Peterborough defence a £500 bonus if they don’t concede. TBH I thought the first line of defence was your forward line. Unless there are bonuses for other positions I’d be trying to get in the defence.
