Just paid a tenner to watch that on iFollow and while I might have expected defeat, I expected a bit more than that. Cracking effort from Garrity but it seemed like we were trying to play for a smash and grab / draw and the goal before HT killed us. 

I actually thought the first half we were fairly solid defensively. Massey though, was absolutely pointless and offered nothing, but we sat with a low block and we'd have been better off playing Dipepa at the start instead to give Posh a bit more to think about. 

I don't have much to say about any of the players performance wise; Rippers stopped it from being worse and watching on iFollow I thought the penalty call was a bit pathetic, but whatever.

We offered nothing going forward until we had to chase a goal, and now and have suffered the goal difference gut punch. 

We need to dust ourselves down and go again, two home games coming up so need to give it everything and give it a damn go. Can't be sitting back afraid of GD, need to go and try to get points.

They didn't want win 

They played like they agreed to lose before a ball kicked .

It was so easy for them it was a disgusting performance

To be fair though Wozz, was that just the Posh players making sure they weren't injured ahead of the big day at Wembley?  Whatever, Carlisle did us a favour last night.  We just have to rev up and go again on Saturday, as Micky used to say.  What's done is done, we know we have a poor and unbalanced squad - the best we can hope for is to survive this season, have the summer clear out (again - whatever happened to stability?) and buy some players who can give us a safe mid table season.  That would be nice.

Very frustrating to watch, Vale stood off and let them play, which of course they did. By contrast, Vale players never had time to do anything, as soon as we got the ball there was a Posh shirt all over us. Big difference.

If you're not on the same level quality wise, which we're clearly not, no idea what we don't try to beat them in strength, show them we're there, get a foot in, not give them time to play. Make them not want to ball because they're worried they'll get clattered. 

But no. Far too polite and nice.

We set up 1st half to keep men behind the ball and it worked until the final kick, 2nd half I felt we started better but the penalty killed us. We looked better in spells but pushing forward exposed us and the massive gulf between the 2 teams in quality is evident. Need to remember though these were championship last season and have kept their squad together. I think give Moore the summer to root us out and set us up and whichever league were in we will compete but tonight was never going to be our night.

Unfair fight, Vale beaten by a much better team, did well to keep it to 3 down. best opposition performance I've seen this season, same as last season at their place.

Unlucky pen for me, 6 of one and half a dozen of the other, gonna have 20 pens a game if that is deemed a pen.
