There was a fair few of us in the hospitality area - I'd gone in the vice president seats which gave you access to the bar, free tea/coffee etc at half time and a seat right behind the Vale dugout (£20) .. At least 3 of the boxes I walked past were full of Vale fans as well so half the crowd were from Vale

i take that back, i thought they were & then when i went to watch it's just a screenshot with some mad commentary 😂 i'm sure Vale will stick them on their twitter page at some point today 🤷🏼‍♂️

This is clearly a very good win. The stats show attacking domination of the game. However, taking a dark side we now have a difficult looking run of games through to Christmas. They are games we can take points from but we need this level of form to do that. Or we will be in relegation trouble. It's a tough league.

Yeah we’ve had a couple of decent away wins in the cup but now we need to turn that into points on the board in the league.

Uche is an incredible watch. One minute trapping the ball expertly and laying it off perfectly, the next hitting a shot that missed the stand and hit a tree behind it. He took on four men to win a corner in an impossible situation but also missed an absolute sitter first half. But one thing you cannot question is his effort. The lad gets his shirt pulled almost every time the ball goes near him and he gets battered but he gives it back and despite being clearly knackered in the second half, he drove himself on and that's all that fans really ask for which is why is the definition of a cult hero. 

 

And who else could throw his shirt into the crowd at the end of a game and almost miss the stand!

If you had said beforehand that we were going to win comfortably, not concede and reduce our opponents to having no shots on target with a makeshift defence,  have two players needing a confidence boost because their own fans get on their back from time to time score a goal, dominate the game, have no bookings, be the better team and use the subs intelligently, and have a third of the crowd on the night, I would have said fair enough, let it be so.   Well done to Andy Crosby and the team for taking us through to the next round - definitely got it right tonight.  

 

Can I get me Happy Clappers bob hat, rosette and rattle out again? Can I, can I? I lost them when the Grumpy Gits Club bullied us the other week when Vale lost and kept asking where we were......and I felt sad.

Great win Lads....hate just listening though. Onto the Shrews!
