Bit over the top. They'd bring another 2or300 tops. No one knows exactly what the issue here is, could be Crewe not agreeing to cover the costs of unsold tickets. We could have reached a threshold where we would have to sell another 500 tickets to cover the costs for instance, and Crewe aren't prepared to take that risk. All guess work, but the club aren't stupid, if they could give them more tickets, they would.

It is possible part of the reason Staffs police have said no is because of Crewe fans own doing. Appears they have a bit of a schooligan issue. Naughty naughty..

The S.O.s bring about 1200 to Vale on average (apart from that year we relegated them and only 500 odd bothered).

It still don’t stop our so called fans from dissing there own club about it

Port Vale are behaving like a shop that's got the closing down sale signs in the window.

Shocking decision, whether it be from the club or Police, there will be something like 200 Rotherham fans at Stoke, would hardly think there be much Police needed there.  I hope when we get 2800 tickets at Derby rather than the full allocation of 3300 Vale fans won't be moaning and like someone said next time we're at Crewe, if its a Vale decision not to release extra tikets, they grant us the same allocation.

At times Port Vale do strike me as a business that would be happier without the mither of having paying customers.

Totally bizarre situation. This is supposed to be a regular rated,  first class game. Would the same have happened if we'd have drawn a Premier league team?

If the issue is that Sjoke are also at home, then surely they should also have their capacity reduced as well in order to even out resources,  because this is going to cost the Vale money. 

If, on the other hand, it's an internal decision, then, it becomes a total embarrassment to the club, without the benefit of a rational statement from the club. 

Somebody with a voice at the Club needs to get a grip and quickly.

From what I've seen it'll be completely down to the police, and Crewe "fans" have only themselves to blame.
