I thought I'd start this thread EXCLUSIVELY for Happy Clappers.

As a bona-fide member myself I'd just like to say I'm really looking forward to this coming season.

I'm happy to state now that if pushed for a prediction, then I think we will finish somewhere between 24th and 1st.

Good luck all connected with the club, the players in particular.

I'll feel a bit like RZ at first as I won't be able to identify most of the players but I'm sure I'll get there by Christmas.

Count me in and I've even changed my seat from the back of the Railway stand to the front row so so I can recognise who's who. Mind you last year I had specsavers glasses on and had to keep asking who had scored but this year I've been to Boots and will be much closer to the pitch so a little less conversation. Oooh sounded like Elvis then ! 🤣🤣

I'm in. Five years ago we were staring at non league and had an owner quite willing to run us into the ground to get his own way. We're a long way from that. Not perfect, but we should realise we're streets ahead of where we were, and it'll take a long time to build us into what we were a long time ago.

Most of them are moaning about lack of support from the crowd and lack of effort from the players. Can’t fault your own enthusiasm and commitment, but “ happy clapper”, afraid not. Keep well, no offence intended. The Vale very much needs you.

I'm in also,in my 57 years supporting the club these are the best owners.The Rudge era was the best footballing period but I am hoping that this season we will see some attacking football.
