Agree with you see what AC and Co bring in and then look at the first 10 games as we either start brilliant or just prop the league up.  Nothing normally in the middle.  Hopefully it will be players that actually add to the team and not this is what was left and most are now seeing the physio on a daily basis.

Also the nervous/exciting feeling you get when you see the better players go that you would have kept and the ones you would have easily driven somewhere kept.  

The rumours of this player linked to Vale or this player in talks/linked with Vale.  You know damn well we could not afford them in a month of Sundays.  Wondering when players are going to appear in the senile (seeing that they don't put Vale stories onto their web page anymore) or on the official website or on here that have signed.  Makes the days of no football more interesting.

Couldn't have put any better!  But there's always cricket and this year's Ashes series to watch while we await  the new season.

I'm already bored of close season for Vale. The internets made it that way why I need instant gratification.I want to see us signing a new player every 5 days to get us through to that first friendly game v Kidsgrove. 

I have no idea how I coped when I was a kid when the pre-season break was much longer, we had no internet and I waited eagerly for the  sentinel to turn up every day.

I have no attention span anymore. It's bene completely ruined
