I get that we can’t give them more tickets in other stands, I get that.what I don’t get is why we can’t give them the extra 500 in the Hamil, it’s not like all the 500 will want to use the toilets at the same time or all buy a pie at the same time, that’s if there’s any pies left by ko time.

I'm the same, just don't understand what's gone on in that stand to restrict the allocation to 4k. What's more intriguing is that the total allocation has changed as the season has gone on. Like I said earlier in the thread. Bolton were limited to 3.3k. Wednesday 3.5k. Derby 3.9k. Now Plymouth have 4k. Someone is making that decision, whether that be at Vale, the council, the police, I've no idea. Something has changed between those games for the maximum allocation to increase slightly over an 8 month period.

It's still a good allocation they should be pleased with, but is a shame that a stand with 4,500 seats, can't sell them all, and no one knows exactly why.

I expect a lot of Janners will travel without tickets.Having allocated 4K (biggest this season)it may reduce that amount? With the kickoff being 12 noon will TC  be open and will the fanzone be in use?

If TC is open would expect it to be Plymouth only. I'd understand that. Like the idea of a fan zone but someone mentioned coaches park there, cars too so would have to make those changes soon. Hopefully someone at the club has thought about all this well in advance. Plymouth selling 4k was very easy to predict. I'm surprised that some people are surprised.

That extra 500 tickets would bring in an extra 10 k£ plus more food and drinks sold, not to be sniffed at

The Bolton tickets say unreserved so we can only sell 90% of the available seating then.  I know quite a few of the seats near the front of the Hamil were damaged so I don't know if they've been repaired.  Don't know what else has been done to increase the figures but we have clearly added 800 to the capacity during the season??

If Ipswich win on Saturday then the helicopter with the trophy on board will be stationed somewhere between Fleetwood and Burslem, which got me thinking have I ever seen a team crowned champions at ST6?

I was thinking the same. If they do win the title I'd probably stick around to watch it lifted.

Lots of comments on this thread where folk are in contortions trying to come up with permutations that would give our club extra 'coin' for this fixture. Please remember that there is a very simple thing we can all do. If ST holders who know in advance that they will not be attending for whatever reason, go onto their account on the website and hit the button that informs the staff that they will not be attending, then this releases their seat for re sale to another person. Fed up this year of hearing people saying that they heard that the Lorne street was sold out but that there are obviously a significant number of empty seats. it's always 'all available tickets sold'. Granted that all other areas of the ground can be sold out but will still have empty seats due to H&S restrictions but this does not apply to a modern section like the Lorne street making it obvious to notice. How many of the 6,500 ST holders are not going to this fixture, and how many will let the club know this fact? It will not make a difference to the club's income on a tuesday night against Morcambe but it could be significant in this instance.

Did Brighton win the league at Vale about 20 years ago?

Every home game around 1500 season ticket holders don't turn up, mainly junior valiants who were never going to come anyway, 2 or 3 yrs old, live miles away, they had a season ticket for becoming a junior valiant whether they wanted one or not. That has changed for next season so the problem shouldn't be as bad.
