League One 23/24

The difference this season is we should, in theory, know which league we’re going to be playing in next time, which should, in theory, allow us to plan and recruit much earlier than last season.  We’re pretty much safe, the bottom 5 or 6 teams are fighting it out for the 4 relegation spots and the picture will be much clearer after Easter looking at the fixtures.

We certainly don't want to take anything for granted after seeing the FGR v Sheff.Wed result on Sunday?

Are there any plans?

Cherries adding 3000 seats to one end, priority seems to be a new training ground presumably  to expand their academy and better facilities for their players. Steady growth, keep the ground full and tickets in demand.

Can't imagine they need one, although they have said they want a new ground, but is it necessary once they drop out of the premier league

Population of 500,000, must be scope for growth 3000 being added

I think we are more likely to get promoted next year but also more likely to get relegated. With 3 of the biggest clubs going up it makes it a fairer playing field, but with at least 3 of the 4 smallest clubs going down we will likely find ourselves as a 'smaller' club than we were in the previous year

You certainly believe in hedging your bets. Relegation? Promotion? The only one you've missed is mid-table and then, of course, the question becomes; higher mid-table, or lower mid-table? I should lay on a few bets as you'll every base covered!

I don't want Clarke to be saying ...

Be patient as best value for money comes at the end of the window.

Then saying we missed out on a number of first choices.

That’s what Flitcroft keeps telling him.

Very simple Bill.

The worse teams in the league will be better than they are this season.

The best teams in the league will be worse than they are this season.

there are a number of massive clubs at the top of the league this season that average 20k at home. There will be less of those clubs next season.

There are a number of tiny teams at the bottom of the league that average less than 4k at home. There will be less of those next season
