Yes, it’d be nice to see this carried over into League football, although it would mean I’d have to wait a bit longer for my fish ‘n’ chips.

Seemed excessive.  We had the goal, plenty of subs plus the odd injury, but we guessed 5 mins would be added.

The Pulis pinnacle - games with least ball in play time

The game with the lowest time in play this season - West Ham v Brentford with 41 minutes, 33 seconds - is someway short of Stoke v Blackburn from February 2010, though.

That game - which Stoke won 3-0 in Tony Pulis' 300th game in charge - saw the ball in play for just 39 minutes and one second, 58 seconds fewer than the next game on the list.

The ball being out of play was a common theme in games featuring Stoke. The table below has four of their home matches.

Well when Delap used to take half an hour drying the ball with a towel before a throw in from basically anywhere on the pitch, this isn't a surprise. Notice how all the stoke games are home games as he couldn't do that away

Too many penalties are being given and too much injury time being added on. Basically getting about 15 to 20 minutes injury time a game which is nonesence. The penalties that are being given are mainly soft penalties that if no var was used wouldn't be given.

I dont think speaking your own language makes you a nationalist lunatic. Extending that they should just play as a GB team.

I was referring to the people in wales who say that it is 'insulting' to call the country Wales and that Wales is a name given to them by their English oppressors and they should not use it.

Obviously everyone who speaks welsh does not fall into this category, although it is more likely that you fall in to this category if you do speak welsh
