Usually a tough slog at Cambridge in a compact stadium, currently on 4 league defeats on the trot, but it includes home defeats to the Owls and Rams, and away at Brissle and Ipswich. Whether a Papa win against Ipswich this week will boost them who knows? We start the game level on points, hopefully we will carry the Derby away impetus with us.

Last won 0-1 20 years ago, and lost the 3 games since then, 5-0, 1-0, and 3-1 all in L2, so maybe a change of fortune in L1?

Midweek after we beat Stoke I think! McPhee with the winner after we’d pumped them 5-0 at home.

They’d never won at VP until last time so we owe them one here. Tough game though but a win would go a long way to keeping on track for a comfortable season.

They’ve lost Hoolahan which was a bit of a cheat code for them, we seem more fluent away from home (arguably over DC reign) so no reason we can’t get a win here. They’ve done remarkably well last season and a decent example to follow for our first season back considering their promotion was a bit out of the blue.

Huge game (again) which could go either way… I remember losing 5:0 here think it was last game if the season when we went down? Great day that was !!

No use predicting the team…. DC will have a plan in his head for the next 3 games at least. I just have a feeling Mipo may start … maybe instead of Wilson.. I don’t think even Smudger is safe this week.

That’s a decent line up.. not sure of Butterworth away from home makes life hard for Garrity and Conlon in there as a 2… I love your score prediction though👍

I think Butterworth will play well against teams where he is given more space in the middle (Shrews at home for example) thought last week would have been perfect for him but we went with Politic instead. Cambridge arent one of the best teams in the league so I back him to be able to create against them.

I've slightly revised my prediction, just had 2-1 Vale Harrison brace at 90/1 on SkyBet.

I fancy us for a win on Saturday

Been away for 3 weeks so missed Sheff,Derby and FGR. I'd have taken 4 points from those 3 games beforehand. Need to start keeping a few clean sheets,starting with Saturday

I'll  be there again. Not a happy hunting ground for us though. Watched a few beatings over the years but strangely I'm optimistic about this Saturday.  Squad now gelling and we will have a strong bench again so let's enjoy this one and show them we're on the upgrade. UTV.

Assuming Walker is not available, that’s the team I think we’ll put out.

Personally I’d bring Pett in for Conlon but that’s never going to happen. I’d also put Hall in for Jones; more likely but still won’t happen. I want to see Massey in a middle 3 on the right but that’s something else we’ll never see.
