Been watching the Lionesses for years, growing and also having the management and infrastructure in place. We were light years behind Germany, not now. Thanks Lionesses you have made us proud.

Watching the singing and dancing,I can relate Vales squad to them celebrating their promotion. They all seem to be so comfortable and happy...all congratulating each other...fantastic to see.

Football is past the eleven aside phase.

At our level, it's becoming a 16 player game.

DC seems to be up to the mark with this development.

Hopefully, this will lead to more opportunities for girls and women to play football. I thought Leah Williamson and Ella Toone were fabulous. You can’t beat a winner from one yard out!

My stand out player is Walsh. Stunningly good midfielder.

What I've loved about this competition has been the spirit that the games have been played in.
Open, expressive, fair.
Sadly, Germany gave us a glimpse of the future tonight.
Full of the dark arts.

They found a way to win. Little bits of play acting crept in from both sides, very poor performance from the ref. Germany very good despite loss of Popp.

A final fitting of a superb tournament. The Germans were never going to go away easily and once they scored I thought there was only going to be one winner, despite all of the fight and spirit the Lionesses have shown they've got in buckets. That first goal by Toone was a finish any world-class striker in Europe would have been extremely proud of, and the assist wasn't half bad either!

Each and every one of them have been a credit to themselves and the country as a whole. The manager deserves a hell of a lot of respect too. Comes across as so down to earth and genuine and is clearly a wonderful manager. All in all not a bad weekend of footy, was it? 👌
